I expect Leo to be more cautious this fight and trying to utilize his lenght. Ultimately he'll have to try and walk Frampton down as Carl showed he's the better boxer.

I wouldn't rule out Santa Cruz however, the first fight was extremely competitive. Not a fan of Leo but he's talented enough, and possesses enough physical advantages to win a close decision.
Dude has a five inch reach advantage and is over two inches taller yet can't utilise them enough to win the first time, he was the only man really hurt last time too. If he opens up more Frampton will stop him.

I expect nothing more from Cruz except the same performance in the hope the pro Mexi fan base is enough to edge the fight for himself, personally I think the scores will be wider than last time and more convincing. I don't see what Cruz can do different, he's just too cumbersome.

took a look at the notable fights from the judges, same 3 judges as pac floyd so the commission holds the judges in high regard, despite some questionable cards in my opinion

      feldman:

      degale 7 5 jack
      canelo 3 2 khan

      clements:

      ward 7 5 kova
      canelo 10 1 cotto
      floyd 9 3 maidana 1st fight

      dave moretti:

      taylor 7 5 hopkins 2nd fight
      mares 8 4 cuellar
      pac 6 6 vargas
      canelo 11 1 cotto
      floyd 10 2 pac
      floyd 8 4 maidana 1st fight
      floyd 9 3 cotto

there seems to be favourability towards the boxer in the above scorecards with the exception being the canelo cotto fight. crowd might have played a factor in those scorecards but they are so unabashed in their favourtism towards canelo in that fight, it is likely due to the fact that alvarez is the money guy in the sport

**** this punk. I'm not a LSC fan but I hope he beats this so called Fighter of the year's ass. He probably won't since Leo isn't anything.
Valdez and Russell would these two.
SMH..I love his game, hate his mentality. He's too good a fighter to not want to compete with the best fighters out there.

I hate this side of the game, it's unfortunately all about money though. Frampton however does deserve a homecoming after selling out arenas in Belfast he had to go to his opponents home town Manchester versus Quigg as he was a belt holder too and fly to the States to face Cruz as he was the champion, I feel it is in fact only fair if he wins and retains his belt that others should have to travel to contest against him, he's kinda earnt that right now.

All this said I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves, Santa Cruz in Vegas aint no walk in the park.

Santa Cruz wins...people overrated the hell out of Frampton's work last time because he caught Leo with his feet squared up(he ducked a previous punch and stood awkwardly) once and almost dropped him(no real damage just a well placed shot on an unbalanced opponent) in the early rounds...then started acting like every FRampton power punch was hurting Leo. Leo's own undoing is his lack of power, he landed clean right counters square in Framptons chin late but couldnt hurt him. He will outwork Frampton and land more, so the only way Frampton wins is his work getting overrated even more just because he won the first fight. It will be competitive but Leo will land more and not get hurt, its just a matter of how much credit Frampton gets for landing flashy punches that dont hurt Leo.
