Ward or his team or his promoter never made any written offer at all to GGG. Ward just called him out in the media. GGG absolutely never turned down an offer to fight Ward for 5 million dollars. You can't turn down an offer that was never made to you in the first place. In his verbal callout Ward said he would split the money 50/50 with GGG. Only written, legally binding contracts mean anything in boxing. Call outs are mainly for publicity. GGG had a legal contract to fight Lemieux when Ward called him out so he couldn't fight Ward until the Lemieux fight was over. At no time was GGG ever offered a purse of 5 million dollars in a written offer or even verbally. YOU ARE SPINNING THE FACTS.
So GGG turned down $5+ mil & 50/50 PPV split to face Ward.

Emails aren't legally binding at all and it is only your assumption that a 50/50 split equals 5 million dollars. Check the record. Ward had outgrown 168 long ago. The last time Ward fought at 168 was way back in 2013. Ward fought Smith at a catchweight of 172 in 2015. Where was this mythical fight supposed to be fought at? Oakland, no doubt. Ward and GGG are both great fighters. Ward is a light heavyweight and GGG is a middleweight. They will never fight so you are beating a dead horse trying to make GGG look bad. Ward has his plate completely full with Kovalev for now.Comment

Contracts aren't written up until teams come to agreement. Using your logic nobody turns down anybody.Ward or his team or his promoter never made any written offer at all to GGG. And how the fuck do you know that the total purse was 10 millions to be split 50/50? there's no way to know. Stop creating myths, you liar POS. Disgrace of person.Loeffler said the email from an official of Ward’s promoter, Roc Nation Sports, extends a 50/50 purse-split offer to fight in 2016 after each fighter took one fight earlier in the year.

Wow! The king of GGG haters approves. What a surprise. How come you start 10 times more threads than any other poster??????? Do you think your opinion is so valuable and sought after that you must force all your GGG hate on this board multiple times daily? When you aren't busy starting hate threads on GGG you turn your hate toward another excellent fighter name Pacquiao who you insist on calling #48. You are so full of hate for good non black boxers you might explode. You are an extremely negative poster who never contributes anything positive.Comment

I never said that and you know it unless you are a moron. What I said was no offer of any kind was made to GGG by Ward or his team or his promoter to fight for 5 million dollars at a weight of 168 pounds. Is that too complicated for you, Dunce? Teams coming to agreement and written up contracts start with a reasonable offer. Team Ward never made a reasonable offer.Comment

Do you have a source or are you just making **** up?Ward is getting $5 mil for his fight against Kovalev. He offered GGG a 50/50 split. Ward v. GGG would've been a bigger fight commercially than Ward vs Kovalev so their purses would've been closer to $7mil & the PPV 50/50 split. By far the most profitable fight for GGG to date. Turning down $10 mil & $5+ mil plus 50/50 PPV upside this guy is going to be fighting into his 50's trying to make a good payday
And before you start with the 'Ward can't make 168' remember, Ward has never missed weight & was 173.5 two weeks out from his fight with Smith. Ward has always been a professional when it comes to weight & if he would've missed weight there would've been a severe financial penalty.Comment

Giving them 50/50 (which is what they requested) and 168 which they had been saying they'd fight at and made offers to others to fight at, wasn't reasonable? I disagree. Golovkin ducked Ward everyone knows it, only Golovkin fans say he didn't.I never said that and you know it unless you are a moron.
