Steak. After Canelo hamburger and 3G tuna, this is file mignon. I don't know who wins, Krusher should be the favorite. The undercard is disappointing, that's where they're blowing it. The Canelo circus is a show, not just Canelo. He's had several FOY on his undercards, he's been eclipsed by his prelims, but he headlined so he gets credit for the spectacle. A good undercard is like cutting off the ring on a fan.

The most important thing that matters is that two undefeated, top five P4P fighters are getting in the ring with each other.
Who is paying who, and how much, is not really my concern. Although it's nice too see a good person (and our last Olympic gold medalist) getting a fat paycheck.

I believe Corrales was #5 but Mayweather was #7 when he fought him. Hatton, I don't know. Edit; looked it up and Hatton was #8 when he fought Floyd.

K2 wants to not only low-ball the money to Jacobs (I sincerely doubt that the ask was for anywhere near $5m for the fight), but they also want to choose the TV network, choose the venue, choose the sponsors, and basically have Jacobs just show up.Originally posted by Scipio2009 View PostThe bid was supposed to be in Octbober, K2 (not Jacobs) were the ones who asked for the extension, the extension has since expired again, and K2 (not Jacobs) are still talking about hashing out terms.
There's a reason why K2 has refused to go forward with the purse bid (after the one initial head fake, with K2 then spending the next how long still not going forward with the bid), and my guess is that K2 seems to sense that Showtime/Barclays is more invested in the potential fight than he's been able to get HBO/MSG, with Golovkin not actually able to cross the street for the fight (Jacobs and Co seemingly having no such issue).
