Let's be honest, the pimp can fight. He's a tricky southpaw with KO power. He's not a super complicated fighter but he moves well, and throws the left hand like a straight beast. He's def champion material for LHW. And he's def worthy of contending with the Ward Kovalev winner. Ward Kovalev is a sick fight, someone is getting knocked off their pedestal, that's what boxing is about. Only one man can reign on top. We need to find out who's the one.

Not this horse **** where there's five guys in the division and their all "the one" yet never fought each other. Par for the course in boxing.

Stevenson is cashing checks that kovalev could only dream of.

Kovalev-Stevenson would be a guaranteed highlight KO. It's a ****ing shame that both sides took turns ****ing that up.

He is often used as an example of how you can win a lineal belt by doing essentially nothing. His resume sucks. He needs to work his way up to Ward/Kovalev. He ducked the **** out of Hopkins and Pascal and just about everyone else.

The absolute highlights of his career were beating a washed up Chad Dawson who Ward already destroyed (and lost to a bum a few months later) and trading knockdowns with previously unknown Fonfara. Stevenson is not even a top LHW. He sat on the sidelines.

Now he's 40 years old and doesn't have enough time to work his way up. they might give him this fight because he's been hyped so much in Canada and represents very easy money but that's about it.
