pac beat cotto, morales, marquez, barrera, bradley, de la hoya etc. WHo did kessler beat? markus beyer? ANd he fought 3 top guys and lost to them all, i thought he lost the first froch fight too. Im not trying to **** on kessler, seems like a great guy and always came to fight, just saying i dont think he was that amazing at all

I think Froch and Kessler would be a huge task for GGG. I don't expect him to be lights out against the elite at 168, and both those guys have iron chins.

Kessler is faster, bigger, and has good technique and skill - that is a hard combination of attributes to overcome for GGG in my opinion.

Against Froch - he can exploit Froch's defensive responsibility, or lack there of, but when Froch was in against Abraham, he showed he could stay out of harms way against a big puncher, Froch has a reach of 75" which along with a significant height advantage would be a huge advantage for him in this fight, I think its a tough, tough fight for GGG against both guys because they are elite fighters in every way, and naturally bigger.

This is giving GGG the benefit of the doubt that he can actually take these guys shots, which I am not convinced about.

find it strange everyone commenting on froch and kessler being the ones who would beat him. I think GGG would win super 6 but i would have thought his hardest opponent would have been andre dirrell, by some distance. I thought dirrell beat froch in the super 6, and style wise he'd have been a hard nights work for GGG, whereas froch with his chin hanging out in the air is tailor made for GGG, i dnt care if hes bigger than him, you cant charge forward with chin in your air against golovkin. Knowdirrell lost to degale but think he was better a few years ago, and that was a damn close fight once dirrell got his arse into gear.

GGG would have dominated the super six and wouldnt have needed to use his head as a third arm to do it

like Ward did against Kessler, with the blessings of a corrupt referee

anything Ward can do, GGG can do better

aside from hugging and headbutting, ofc

Are you forgetting that Ward was in the super 6?

the question i asked originally, was how would ggg do if he took andre wards place.

I would give the edge to Froch at that time, Froch was huge and while GGG is the better boxer and has higher ring IQ, Froch stylistically would be a problem, really for anyone. I think GGG could outbox him but as big a Froch fan as I was during the super six, I would be expecting Froch to stop him.

I would favor GGG over Kessler but maybe I am underrating Kessler, I didn't know too much about him before the super six and his loss(es) might make me underrate him so I won't argue against people who think he would beat Golovkin.
how you see him and A.A. playuing out. A.A. is tough as they come.

                      Arthur Abraham?

I think GGG beats AA fairly easily. He's tough but can be outworked and outboxed. Golovkin doesn't start slow and AA does. He's bigger and really tough but I don't think that would stop Golovkin from a late stoppage or decision.
