  • How would golovkin have done in the super 6?

If golovkin took andre wards place in the super 6, how do people think he would have done?

Kessler would have schooled him, broken him up and shattered his spirit. Possibly stopped him but I think GGG may have what it takes to go the distance losing a decision.

Very possible he has a defeat. I love the guy but I wouldn't be comfortable putting money on him against Froch and Kessler at 168.

Froch and Kessler beat him easily at 168

This has been discussed in other threads.

He wouldn't had gotten past Froch for starters.

Froch, Kessler defeat him. He kills Allen Green. AA is a toss up. I got ggg by narrow decision.

People try and play Kessler's accomplishments down as to diminish other boxers achievements but its clear and evident Kessler was around 2005-2009 an elite level boxer and also a punch who had considerable power at a higher weight class also.

GGG would not have got around his jab and when met by one punch fight ending power he would not be half the fighter we think he is at present, GGG benefits a weak division in which would be a thoroughly competitive division if he wasnt there, the level he is at the nearest challengers are clearly a level below, moving up to 168 in a divison awash with talent around 2009 GGG would find out a lesson regarding levels.

I think GGG vs a past prime Froch may have been competitive say 2012- 2013 Froch he'd have a chance with, the Froch that fought Groves would certainly lose IMO.

What high level fighters did Kessler school ,break up and break the spirit of again? Beyer,Mundine? He didn't seem to be that kind of dynamic fighter in his losses to Calzaghe,Ward or Froch.
