It doesn't matter really. If he does the most wonderful job in history he will be widely hated because of the changing demographics and racial hostility in the US.

In his place I would start laying the foundation for balkanization.

Republican party is an inconsistent, f#cked up party with policies only 1 percent of the population benefiting. The US is a very ideologically left-leaning country with a hybrid economy. It's not difficult to understand. Saying we have many leftists does not imply that we practice pure socialist economics. Why does this seem to give some people so much difficulty?

In the entire world there are a small handful of countries like Sweden and France that are further left than the US in law and ideology. "Left-wing?? You don't even have mandatory prison sentences for hate speech like 3 countries on the entire planet!". Yeah ok you sheltered freak. Aside from the opinions of uneducated drug-addicts, the terms "left-wing" and "right-wing" have very specific meanings with origins in the traditional vs revolutionary wings of the national assembly during the French revolution.

I use the terms formally according to their origins and uneducated drug addicts have never dictated language to me. The US is technically a very left-leaning nation.
