I think it's safe to say USA is still the superpower. The fight capital is still Vegas.
There may be a lot of belt holders in various weight classes spread out in different countries, but a lot of those fighters haven't fought outside of their home country.
A lot of the belt holders in other countries, or just other fighters in general, aren't taken seriously until they fight a card in USA, against a USA fighter. Exceptions might be the UK. But did anyone know who Golovkin was until he fought in USA? What about Pacquiao? He wasn't known until he was fighting in USA. Canelo?
Fact is a lot of those fighters need to get that American audience to propel them to the next level.Comment

A country way smaller than the US (UK) has more notable champions
On a population vs accomplishments ratio the US is at like india level in boxing post 1990.
Just terrible overall quality. We've resorted to nostalgia and fantasizing about the days before foreigners really participated and we could pretend we were the best.
Slow farmboy Joe vs desperate freed slave Bob was the pinnacle. Or so we pretend.Comment

What nationality are you?
You seem ashamed.
Vlad is boring...he put the entire division to sleep..that's when he was sleeping himself....on the canvas
Nobody cares who you consider boring...I bet you can hardly defend yourself.Comment

Factor in the American Black population..then do your ratios
MOST of America's greatness comes from that one group.Comment

And it's gone. They looked good against fat american journeymen but got crushed on the global level. Are you really old?
Not even doing good in the olympics anymore, only medalled at womens and bantamweight
all dem great historica 5'9" middleweights went to the NBA though
they didn't just get stretchered by russians before anyone knew who they were

I'm pretty sure you'd be more defensive when people criticize them and mention their accomplishments at every turn.
No way any country could have this many world champions and p4p fighters without boasting about it. Look at you, a handful of champions for the whole of Eastern Europe and you're already beating your chest.
America is second best to Britain only and this could change very soon. You can laugh at PBC fighters, but who can beat guys like Robert Easter jr or the Charlo's besides other Americans?
Just because they aren't recognized by this new breed of boxing fans, doesn't mean they don't exist. The American public is in need of white heroes, the success of African American fighters makes them feel insecure, so they turn to Eastern Europeans. Hence why Eastern Europeans are getting more support and recognition at the moment.
But I would like to ask this question, are you Asian? Because I've seen a trend with Asian fans propping up non black fighters because they'd rather see any other race of fighters succeed over black americans, again because of deep set insecurities.Comment

UK by way of Pa.kistan
What most Champions?
NONE of those guys are in for the long haul.
Brook has Spence's belt around his waist and is mandated to fight him.
You can get ready to scratch him.
Degale is more average than Brook...he won't get past Jack Badou.
Frampton ain't shi/t to write home about.
Most Champions
