No doubt. Especially if either wins impressively.

Your first post marginalizes the collective resumes of Ward/Kov when their collective resume is probably the best in boxing of any two active fighters who can actually fight each other .

I only asked u to provide names because u were snubbing their their collective resumes. If your gonna snub then at least come up with a reason or two why u feel that way. Was it someone u feel they avoided?
Was it too many soft touches ?
        What's the issue ?

These two guys have avoided no one and are still dominating, and have solid resumes collectively so it's a rarity for fighters of this caliber go head to head.

Roman and Crawford don't yet have the collective resumes of Ward and Kov but u still list them P4P 1+2

I'm just soooo tired of the "Who has he fought" mumbo jumbo. Although it is applicable to some fighters.

Is this guy pathetic or is this guy pathetic? Fought nobody in almost 4 years and all he is talking is his P4P Status.

He expects to win so of course he would say that. I would give him the number 1 spot if he wins and looks good. If he wins but not in an impressive fashion he wouldn't become my number one. Pound for pound is just personal opinion and can't really be proven unless two fighters are the same weight and they fight each other.Smaller fighters than Kovalev and Ward can't fight them to try to prove they are better pound for pound. It is a great fight between two guys who are very high up on most pound for pound lists so maybe the winner should be number one. I have to see the fight first, myself.

Newsflash: When the best fights the best no one will look really good, and while someone will win it will probably be controversial i.e. Hagler/Lenard
              Floyd/ Pac
              Ali/Frazier

But if it's the best vs someone proped up then someone will look bad

I just hope whoever wins, they keep fighting top competition. You can't just sit on one win and not do anything of significance afterward.

Andre is already p4p #1 and most people think so even if they don't want to admit....I'm a huge Kovalev fan too but the p4p spot is his to earn not Ward's because he's already there...

I'm really looking forward to this fight but $70 seems a little steep.

If any of the two wins in an spectacular fashion, yes that will be the P4P Number 1, but if the fight is a "boring" fight, you can surely expect not many liking that guy to be P4P number 1
