I see the usual posters on this website are having good, analytical conversation about boxing as usual. LOL... Anyway, I think Kov would need to put Ward down to beat him. I have a hard time seeing a decision that Ward doesn't win. I think a lot of fans will be happy if Kov knocks Ward out. As far as excitement goes, Kov is preferred to many people. He knocks people out, which is attractive to many fans. Unfortunately, Ward isn't appealing to many for various reasons that I don't care to get entangled in. One of which is his purer boxing skills and a lack of knockout power. To each his/her own.

I think Ward will show that he's the dominant boxer and won't be as affected by Kov's power as others think. His jab to the body will take the power out of Kov come the later rounds. Also, we will see how well Kov can take some punches himself. For all the questions surrounding Ward's chin, we don't know much about Kov's either. Will Kov be able to keep Ward at the end of his punches? Can Kov fight on the inside? This is the kind of stuff I'm looking forward to finding out... not built-in excuses about headbutting or discrediting the champion's resume. I'm up for this one.

Well, i don't give a **** about the illusion the "American System" sells to it's sheep.
That doesn't mean anything at all.

                This is a Boxing match.

For some reason Kovalev thinks he's the "good guy" in this fight. Surprising considering he's known to be a pretty ****ty human being.

                    Terrific Fight???

Calling Kovalev v Hopkins a "terrific fight" is a bit of a stretch even in this era of overhyped, snoozefest mismatches. Maybe Kovalev v Ward will be a "terrific fight", but I'm definitely not holding my breath.

Kov would make him pay for all those boring fights he gave to his fans. Kov is no Russian robot as showtime or hbo boys say, nor Ward is so elusive as they call him to be. Kov will be bigger and land much harder than ppl Ward has faced.
