Ehhhhh.... The amateurs was quite some time ago. That doesn't mean that he can develop a chin, but I don't know how useful that is.

Bhop did stagger him and Pascal (potentially a harder puncher than Ward) did as well.

I won't get entangled in the BS involved with making the Stevenson fight. They both get the blame for it not happening. If they wanted it, it would have happened. I don't think it's fair to say either flat out ducked the other, but I could see how Kov wouldn't want to take those shots... I'm glad I'm not the only one questioning Kov's chin though...

Ward was great at 168 but he hasn't proven anything at 175 and now he faces the very best at that weight. I actually give Kov the edge on both fronts, boxing and fighting, because Kov is the only one of the two that has done both at 175. Regardless of who wins what I really want to see is how each fighter response when the other is controlling the action. I see the momentum swinging several times during the fight and I think the winner will be the best body puncher. I second you, I'm up for this one too.
There have been plenty of boxers to move up in weight and beat the fighter that has already had success at that weight. Kov has had success at 175, but I don't see how that gives him such an advantage that you expect him to be the better boxer and puncher. If Ward becomes scared of Kov's power, then he may be able to maneuver Ward in such a way that he outboxes him (BHop fight), but I'll have to see that first. However, I agree that whoever gets to the body early and often will have quite the edge. I'm pumped.

I don't know, I can only think of All-time Greats that have moved up to defeat monsters at higher weights. I think that's the question that this fight will ultimately answer. "Should Ward be considered an All-time Great?" I feel that if Kov dominates Ward he will not receive the same level of praise because Ward moved up. Regardless I only give Kov the slight edge because he has been there and done that at LHW and like he said himself he has been ready for this fight for a couple of years now. It's finally here and it will be a great fight if the clinching is kept to a minimum.
