Cool story bro
Daniel Jacobs and Gennady Golovkin both have profiles in NYC, Lou DiBella is the premier fight promoter in New York, and the Barclays Center and Showtime are more that interested in putting out the money to host the fight.
K2 isn't going to bid $7m on the fight; heck, I doubt that K2 even bids $4m on the fight.
Between the Showtime licensing fee, the Barclays Center site fee/live gate, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren in the running for the UK TV rights, and K2 paying up to host the fight on their German broadcaster, etc, a sizable bid can be covered by Lou DiBella.
What is the fight worth to K2, though? Between the HBO fee, and the gate as MSG, sponsors, international TV, etc, what are the revenues looking like for K2

Gotta know your role Jabroni
not that complicated.

Ha Canelo said himself after the khan fight he would fight at 160,and the canelo fight is still being negotiated, why would he take the first offer for a fight nearly a year away?
The 164lb catch weight was a starting point for negotiations with ward.
As for jacobs, how can someone who only has 375,000 viewers on showtime and cant even sellout a venue in his home town with a fellow new yorker be worth more than 1 mil let alone 1.5 lmao.If anyone is to blame for this fight not happening its jacobs and al haymon.

not that complicated.
Would have to be a real idiot to bid upwards of $8 million for this fight...
Does Jacobs want to beat the man and become the man or does he want a belt handed over due to contractual issues? I dint understand how guys expect to get paid on a May/PAC opponent type level against a guy who only makes $2 million a fight himself...
