This is embarrassing...to the sport...to the fans.

These guys need to stop making these leaps up in weight and stop blowing guys up to make a fight.

This **** is getting out of control.

isn't it funny how some see it the other way ? LMAO

Mr "anyone from 154-168" also totally refused to negotiate on the weight with lil old 153lb Cotto..... despite the fact that Cotto was the only realistic fight at that point, and despite the fact that Cotto was - and likely still is - his best possible payday

it is hard to imagine that the guy who refused to negotiate with Cotto and then turned down 10mil to fight a fat red kid will ever participate in a meaningful fight

that is bizarre, no idea why more journalists aren't asking questions

Don't be naive bro! It's always gonna be called ducking... not the first fighters to do it, won't be the last..

he was NEVER going to get either of those fights

the only realistic fights at 154 were Cotto/Canelo

but Golovkin totally refused to negotiate on the weight with BOTH of those guys

Fk Canelo, what about Cotto ?

why on earth would Mr "anyone from 154-168" totally refuse to negotiate on the weight with his best possible payday?

any other fighter from 147-160 would cut off one of their fingers to fight Cotto..... but Team Golovkin were not willing to even lift a finger to make that fight happen..... they never even considered fighting Cotto below 160, not once

It Pac could make it competitive for a while it would be fun to watch, the style clash, but even a prime Pac would get eaten alive even if they were the same size. GGG is all wrong for him.

Resume wise, Pac is a good name on any resume, he isn't that gone yet, but I would still rather see Canelo or Ward get carried out on a stretcher over anyone else right now.
If they were the same size, a primed Pacquaio would use GGG's goofy looking face for target practice, rearrange it, and dispose of him in 8-9 rounds.

If they were the same size now Manny would beat the bum.

Ask Eddie Hearn who would've been out of five million bucks if he couldn't find an opponent to put in the ring against Golovkin. I've never supported that match being made but let's be 100% REAL. K2 did not negotiate a brook fight, they negotiated a Hearn event with the stipulation he'd deliver Eubank.

No? You sure about that because perhaps you should go read the many many quotes from Hearn about what Eubank Jr almost cost him. "Brook saved the event."
Also while you are at it, go look at the fight film...it's not a K2 event....but don't let reality set in. Easier to be in denial cuz.
