I feel like the standard commentators Max and Jim wouldn't want to compete with a radio guy like Stephen A
After all they do probably have an ego to their position in boxing. Not saying Stephen A. knows a ton of boxing but he's definitely a commanding personality and very entertaining. But idk they may all like opening up boxing and bringing in a fellow broadcaster

But it's not on HBO, so Lampley & Kellerman won't be sharing the airtime with Smith.

Smith will be sharing the commentating duties with Brian Kenny and Tim Bradley

I wonder if Uncle Bob had anything to do with deciding the commentators? If so, then he's proven how outta touch with reality he really is. Same goes if it was someone else deciding.

This dolt says he isn't rattled, but if that were the case, he wouldn't even bring it up. And if they asked him about it, he would just give a basic deflection and move to another subject. I see one or two on here saying they like the guy... but for the most part, I never run into anyone who can stand him. His analogies have proven he's clueless. And for him to bring up the Ali/Fraser fight early on with interviews... that flat out proves he's clueless. That's like saying you like rock music, yet the only groups you can name are the Beatles and the Stones. I would certainly hope that Kenny and Bradley flat out run over this idiot. This does absolutely nothing for the sport to have a pompous, clueless goofball like this even remotely involved in it.

Lampley does tend to fluff up HBOs 'great hope' boxers too much, but his knowledge of the sport is light years ahead of this pompous ego blown ee-diott Smith.
