By Cliff Rold - Even after a month where boxing might as well have been on hiatus, enthusiasm for this weekend's return of modern legend Manny Pacquiao is muted. Maybe it's the 60-some dollar price tag. Maybe it's the opponent. Maybe it's just that, after fifteen years as a fixture in the US market, some fans have moved on from Pacquiao against...

I have always felt Donaire just moved up too many weight classes. It slowed him down and affected his confidence. But at super flyweight and bantamweight he was a monster!

I hope he retires soon, i don't want to see him being used as a sacrifice to Valdez.

Let's see as to where Donaire will be taken on this fight. A win is not just a win but it will define how far he could go in boxing. But a lose will mean the final curtain is just around for the young former lion. I hope he could growl loud still after the fight.

The Juarez fight was tough, one way of looking at it is we know Donaire is past-prime but he still has it in him to fight 12 hard rounds. He's not the force he was but I think he can win here and then I hope he has Frampton as his final fight.

The Vetyeka fight still annoys me. 2012 Nonito would have kept fighting after the cut, not fight till the 4th round then quit while ahead. IIRC it wasn't a doctor stoppage either, the corner said Nonito couldn't continue due to the cut

2 me , since I don't buy ppv he is still someone in the shadows find fun and relaxing recollection of him was his KO of Vic D, years back in Connecticut... he must be past his prime but I just hope he doesn't hang on to make himself just an opponent..
