Please explain why you state that, because to me it makes no sense. I actually believe Canelo would KO Mayweather Jr. in a similar fashion as he did it vs. Khan, because:

    1) Canelo was way too green, naive, inexperienced to face Mayweather when he did (HE NEEDED to have faced both Lara, Cotto and Khan FIRST, to get used to defensive-running opponents, very difficult to hit, and realize that he can easily take their punches, so he can confidently get close to them and pound them in mid-close range). That fight with Floyd happened just too soon, for the convenience of Floyd of course, but Canelo couldn't refuse his best pay day ever and such huge exposure.

    2) Canelo had to drain himself to 152 to meet Floyd's requirements. He looked unhealthy, like a corpse during the weigh-in, similar to Christian Bale as Trevor Reznik in the film "The Machinist". At that time, more than three years ago, Canelo had way less power and accuracy in his overall punching skills, specially his body shots. So he was no huge KO threat like he is now. Couple that with being a walking corpse at weigh-in and being utterly inexperienced, and you had a piece of cake for Floyd and a huge boxing lesson for young-naive Canelo, as a result.

    3) Canelo's general ring IQ has increased a lot, as well as his overall power-punching power and accuracy, as mentioned before. His jab is much better too. He was toying with a confident Cotto who had previously KO'd real middleweights such as Sergio Martinez and Daniel Geale. By toying I mean that Canelo was purposely walking into Cotto's punches with no respect at all for Cotto's power. He did the same with his next opponents and he had done that with his previous ones, after facing tricky Floyd.

    4) Canelo is just reaching his peak, whereas Floyd is gonna be 40, and has already shown distinct signs of aging in all his last fights, specially the two vs. Maidana and the one vs. Pacquiao. If both Maidana and Manny stunned him, and their punching power is evidently way smaller than that of Canelo, just imagine what will happen when Canelo starts pounding Floyd relentlessly in the body and finishes him off punching him in the face.

I've explained four sensible reasons why Canelo would terminate Floyd by KO in a rematch, at 154 or 155. What are your reasons to believe Floyd would defeat him again?

      " middleweight ", is 160

seriously, what MW's weigh 155..... name one ?

IF 155 is middleweight, then why won't Golovkin fight Canelo at "middleweight"?..... oh right, because 155 is not middleweight, 160 is.....

.... ok, first you tried that rehydration-weight bollocks, and now you have tried the 154.1 bollocks..... so, what bollocks are next?
A catch weight was never discussed because Connello vacated the belt explain that one idiot. Like i stated in the past Max Kellerman asked right after the Khan fight what weight 160.

You're a clown. He fought a broken down Cotto and didn't do anything special, get off his ****.

Why does Floyd win again? Because Floyd is smarter than Canelo, faster too. Canelo is flat footed and slow, doesn't know how adjust to a guy like Mayweather. And don't say Lara, Lara isn't **** compared to Floyd. In case you forgot, Mayweather beat Maidana and Manny, even tho they "stunned" him. They stunned him so much, they lost the fight.

Canelo is good but not good enough to beat Floyd and not good enough to beat GGG. He doesn't have the speed to beat those guys. Canelo would pound Floyd with body shots? How will he do that if he can't catch him? He would get best even worse in a rematch but whats the point of a rematch? Floyd already won

                cool story, bro

and, what was your other story again..... ?

aah right..... Ward is a b1tch, he will duck Kovalev by faking an injury to avoid that fight

                gotcha ^^

                164, or no fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to bud

Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out

                    " He knows it's 160. It's not respect to boxing "

Canelo demanded 155, but Mr "anyone from 154-168" refused to concede on the weight.....

..... so, Golovkin said "I am 160, he is 155", and then proceeded to fight Kell Brook..... while Canelo said "I am not ready to move to 160" and he proceeded to fight Smith at 154

                    it's all on record man

now that Canelo has conceded on the weight, the holdup appears to be money LMAO

not sure I could agree with that

you cannot compare Golovkin to Mayweather

NOBODY had the speed to beat Mayweather, because speed is not enough to beat Mayweather

not sure that speed is enough to beat Golovkin either, but you simply cannot compare Golovkin to Mayweather

I think that Canelo is waaaaay fast enough to land on the ponderously slow Golovkin..... he will land first, and he will land often..... the issue for Canelo will be the same as the issue for everyone else..... can he stay in there with Golovkin for 12 rounds and survive the breaking-down process

Canelo's success with Golovkin will depend on how smart he is, because he has the tools..... he just needs to find the right gameplan/style

I would favor Golovkin now, but not by much, Canelo would be right in that fight
