khans following really isn't that big. Ggg has sold out an arena in UK and NY. Khan has fought in both of those locations and never sold them out.

Nope. That was a Brook crowd at the O2. Also, he has had Choclatito on all his cards otherwise. I'm not saying Khan is a solo draw, but his fans represent when he fights a big name. Trip has fans, but not the type that generate high revenue

hmm so has brook sold out that arena before fighting ggg? Ggg has sold out in NY and cali as well, khan hasn't. Pretty sure that's created good revenue. Nobody cares about khan. UK fans usually do come out for their fighters but khan doesn't get that kind of support like Hatton did, Lennox Lewis did, even Calzaghe. They probably don't feel like taking the long trip and spending money to watch him get stretched. Seriously, are you actually debating as to whether or not the best fight that can be made in boxing between Canelo and ggg will outsell one of the biggest mismatches ever put as a ppv main event in cameo vs khan?? Get real.

khan has a name, he is a good b side for ppv fights, canelo did 600k with khan and 300k with a noname (smith), doesnt mean khan draws 300k ppvs, but it means that his name is interesting enough to convince canelo fans to buy the fight, smith on the other side people just didnt care...

wrong, Canelo vs khan only did in the 400k range not 600k. Ggg has higher ratings on cable than khan and draws more people to the arenas. I can't believe I'm debating as to whether the obvious mismatch of Canelo vs khan will have a higher ppv total than what Canelo vs ggg will generate.

no official source for either number, but anyways i was only stating that khan was a good b side and compare him to smith, i did not compare him to ggg... both ggg and khan can only be on a profitable ppv as the b side...

Actually I'm not. I'm telling you that you're overselling Trips drawing power. And no, I didn't compare Khan to Hatton or Lewis. I'm just saying that he brings money as a B side. It's why Arum has him on his list for Manny.
