And Im really not looking to paying for a Saunders vs. CanYellow fight??? But it's for the last belt and at least we know he won't keep it hostage like Cotto, Saunders did. He'll drop it in trash or give it to GGG or HOPEFULLY fight for ALL the belts. Plus I'm buying that fight to see how he looks against real 160lbers. If he handles Saunders easily. I won't buy any other MW fights not involving Jacobs or GGG or Canelo. And it has to be ONLY these three guys.
    1. Everyone loves watching khan on Bambi legs so that I can agree with. 2. I'm ok if Canelo wants to gather a belt at mw but again, his career will have an asterisk if he doesn't fight ggg. There isn't any better fight for his legacy available to him.

In the history of the ****ing sport, Golovkin is about to be on the verge of being maybe the first professional fighter to never have to concede anything for a fight in their life.

and you're cool with it. gtfoh
and just to further prove your idiocy. Khan after a ppv upside was set to make as much as 13 miles but most report he made 10 mil. You think that amir khan, the guy who hasn't held a world title in over 4 yrs and has only beaten 1 top 10 opponent in the past 6 yrs should get the same if not more money than ggg? Dummy

my parking pass was 45$ and I bought it advance.

That's actually almost TRIPLE but who's counting?? It probably cost another $15-20 extra to park if you didn't pay in advance.

Either of the two MWs would sell better than Smith did and would help position him better for a Golovkin fight should he want it in 2018. Time is all on Canelo's side here.

            yep

personally, all Golovkin/Canelo issues aside, I think that Canelo may not be great for the middleweight division

if the Golovkin fight happens fast/soon, then fine..... because then the cream will rise to the top the old fashioned way..... and Canelo will fight anyone, I have no doubt about that

otherwise, we could get a similar situation to Pac/May, where the welters all stood-off each other hoping to get that lucky selection by looking harmless LMAO

we don't want the type of situation where Canelo runs the division, without even officially competing in it as yet

one saving factor may be..... if either Saunders or Jacobs get knocked off, then the situation becomes more-clear, with the remaining 3 guys vying to get the best opponent first

it could just push things along a little

this may not be the best combination of fights in terms of entertainment, but in a perfect world I think that Saunders should fight Jacobs next with Golovkin getting the winner..... and then the winner of that match-up has the option to face Canelo..... and if the red kid is not willing to fight at the full divisional limit of 160, then it becomes a non-title fight..... that way his presence does not affect the division

but you're right, Cotto Lemieux Saunders Golovkin, will not all fit into 2017..... so something has to give

I realize that I have a pretty hard line with Golovkin..... and if the situation was accurately described as "the negotiations are still in progress"..... then I am fine with that, no problem..... I only start to have a problem when fanboys start to sing that "coward/ducker/low-ball" song, and try to insinuate that a 10mil offer is an absurd unthinkable duck..... because it aint a bad offer at all

you mentioned some of the lucrative fights that Canelo already has lined up for 2017, so if Golovkin wants to push his luck and risk missing out AGAIN, then that is up to him I guess..... but Golovkin - and his fans - need to realize that he will have to take that fight on Canelo's terms, no question..... Canelo will continue to do his thing, he will not concede advantages to Golovkin, and nor should he

I think that GGG should secure that fight as soon as possible

It's not about record or belts. It's about having a following. Khan has a national and ethnic following. Trip doesn't. Only true boxing fans care about titles.

This is a really sad situation where the president of the orginization is openly shilling for alvarez, saying stuff like hed knock out mayweather, and ggg ducked ward, and now saying he is probably going to give Alvarez the mandatory slot against Saunders obviously to stop GGG from getting the belt.
