yes khan was a better b side than Smith. My original comment was based on a discussion with someone else regarding the cut ggg should receive and I don't think he should get an equal or less total purse than what khan got as I think it's a bigger fight.

Amir Khan got a guaranteed fee (likely $2m-$3m), the UK TV rights to the fight, and maybe a bit extra (the PPV event didn't fo well enough for most PPV upsides to kick in anyway).

Not sure what's so hard for you to get. Regardless of how the deal went down, khan made more than what ggg is being offered to fight Canelo. Golden boy doesn't want the fight to happen so they're making an offer they know won't be accepted so idiots can say, hey they made an offer, they must really want to fight.
