Notice the guy who is always talking about it, and when he is talking about it! Canelo will probably rematch Cotto (which did 900,000 buys) in February, and then Saunders /Lemieux in May, and then GGG in September! Canelo is the face of boxing right now!

I was going to say EASY $$$$ for the doctors!!! Until I realized Canelo could seriously HURT Pac and they would have to work hard for that money to keep Pac alive.

Everyone has been saying Pacquiao has come in more aggressive for this camp. I think the idea of retirement lit a bit of a fire in him and he's got a bit more purpose. Fortune is picking him to stop Vargas in 6.

Canelo has too many options to pick from Manny Pacquiao, Cotto rematch, Kell Brook, Charlo brothers (for belts at 154), not to mention a possible fight in the UK against Billy Joe Saunders!! GGG better accept the offer beat Canelo in September before the opportunity passes him by. Canelo is going to get his money regardless

I mean seriously, if a "tiny" JMM dropped Pac in a spectacular knock down and then a couple of rounds later rendered him unconscious on his back for a few minutes, looking dead... I mean a small and slow guy, about the same size and weight as Pac and almost 40 years old... just imagine what a young, much bigger, WAY HEAVIER AND STRONGER guy who also has a chin, and is a great counter-puncher and probably equally as fast (hand wise) as JMM, will do to Pac... sending him to the hospital with something broken (nose, ribs, jaw, orbital rim) is a distinct possibility. Canelo will take Manny's punches with absolutely no respect or fear (he did that with a much bigger Cotto, I mean he walked through his punches almost as if Cotto had no arms), just imagine what he will do to Pac.

Canelo is no useless punching bag like Rios or Margarito. He is a great counter-puncher, a very good combination fighter and has way better ring IQ than those other two "big guys", not to mention the fact that he hits way harder than those two. Canelo in his current shape would destroy Rios or Margarito easily, if he fought them exactly in the same shape as Pac did.

But hey, Roach definitely wants to keep milking Manny, and, since he is NOT the one putting his life at risk on the ring, what the heck, it seems he will try and milk him away until Pac gets literally killed while fighting. It would be a sad ending for Manny's illustrious career, to be KO'd and sent to the hospital by the very guy that made a spectacle of himself vs. Floyd when he was a very green and drained youngster, not ready by any means to take on the trickiest defensive fighter in boxing history.

I'd rather see Canelo get a rematch vs. Floyd at 154 or 155 (I am sure Canelo would KO him, this Canelo is a smart and dangerous beast compared to the dehydrated and naive one Floyd fought against) or see GGG destroy Floyd at either one of those weights as well (154 or 155). Any of these two guys in their current shape, would send Floyd to the hospital and definitely retire him for good, and I'd really love to see that happen! But I'm sure it would be a much tougher job to KO Floyd for any of them, than doing it vs. a small and tiny Pacquiao. They would toy with the latter whereas they would have to put up with a little bit of embarrassment (some pot-shotting in the face, etc.) before landing a huge punch and sending Floyd to the canvas for his first and last time, because that would be his retirement fight.

Because Algieri was a bigger threat and bigger puncher than Bradley, Rios, and Marquez so they had to drain him three pounds. If Algieri was able to weigh the full 147, Pac would have been the one knocked down six times and probably KO'd.

Canelo has slow feet, he doesn't do well in catching and hurting cotto. It's not out of question that pac can outbox him. I'm sure as hell what to see it.
