    Heck no.

    Washed up Mosley

Debatable win vs Lara(I had it a draw as neither did enough to win)

    Trout was a decent win

    Cotto was ok as well

That is not a hall of fame resume

He's underdog so nelo would be moving in right direction. So beating g GGG would be a good win. Nelo is a good fighter and GGG must be very good if favourite

That's all nelo can do, and not worry too much about atg standing . if he is concerned about being atg then skip GGG and fight kovakev instead

No, but it would be an important step towards ATGness.

GGG would be his best win to date. cotto may have achieved more, but GGG would still be below best win. Nelo would have beaten someone who people thought could be best middle ever. That's not bad.

But atg arent made in one fight. But if nelo can beat GGG he can go on to beat anyone to get the ball running and go on an unbeaten run until losing in old age. Most atgs have a tremendous win on their CV and GGG would be one of those
          Then maybe?

It's amazing what people bring up and call a HOF resume these days. Frankly, I'm stupefied by what some, even lots, would call clear HOFers now.

A good example is Sexy Sergio Martinez. He literally fought no one from '97 until '09 apart from the KO loss to Margs and the Cintron debacle. Literally no one else worth mentioning in the entire 8 years. A good, albeit brief, champion, a late bloomer and a really great guy for the sport. Yet, if you actually look at his resume and what he achieved, considering the amount of people that would call him a clear, first ballot HOFer and one of the great middleweights of our times, it makes you realise why quite a few people might actually think having Trout, Lara and Cotto equals a HOF resume these days.

Hey, if Williams, Pavlik, Barker, and Dzinziruk, are what equal a clear first ballot HOFer and great middleweight now, then why the hell not for Mosley, Lara, Trout and Cotto? I suppose you could add domestic level contenders like Murray and Macklin or Chavez Jr.

But seriously, they are the only champions that Martinez ever beat. 4 in all, with only 1 current champion (pavlik) and only 2 middleweight champions (Pavlik and Barker). Barker and Williams were very brief champs without any defenses and Dzinzruk was a titlist at a lower weight. I'm not calling Chavez Jr a champion, when it was Martinez' own belt that he won, never lost, then for some reason had to refight for against a guy that never won it.

When this becomes the level of supposedly 'obvious' HOFer then nothing surprises me anymore.

GGG has battered full sized middleweights and barely lost a round in the process, whether you like it or not. The Brook fight speaks of his own strength and if you people actually decide to watch fights and fighters rather than being fanboys, you would know that Brook has always been strong. Like I said before the fight, Brook has to use his natural strength and get in GGGs face from the get go. He did that and had limited success...but he also got his orbital bone broken. If that's not a dominant win for GGG then nothing is.

Canelo would be going up against someone who punches hard enough to crack guys to the body AND head, with genuine KO power. P4P he is one of the premier punchers in the sport, depending on how you rank Kov.

Not to forget, Canelo will be giving up height, reach and natural size advantages. If he still manages to beat a guy with all that and to stop him too, it's more impressive than 2 guys of equal size getting a KO. Any objective boxing fan can see that.
BUllshiiit. Golovkin never 1 punch ko's anybody except that Japanese guy and those bums he fought in Germany. Lets be real here.

The problem is GGG is not highly rated by many due to his lack of quality competition in his resume. The critics are rightfully entitled to that argument. I think GGG beats Canelo but if Canelo beats GGG, he will not get the credit due.

Ggg is highly rated without having quality opponents.
critics don't mean much as no matter who you are there are people who wont rate you. Many don't rate Floyd, many don't rate PAC!

Ggg will be below best win no matter what critics say. If ggg wins though ggg will have beat a bum. Ggg is like a magician turning good fighters into bums he should be in magic circle

This is when I know people are plain liars.

Did you even watch GGG v Macklin and Geale?
