  • Golovkin is making peanuts at the moment. 10million is more than he'll ever make. Just sign the terms and re-negotiate for a second fight, win or lose.

So sick of Golovkin, his trainer and his fanboys. Either fight Canelo and make 10million, more than you'll ever make ...or move on to 168.

I want to see how bad ass Golovkin is once his power is neutralized at 168lbs. Let's see if he really likes giving us a big drama show.

And saying 2 guys are on collision course is not the same thing as asking one of them to sign a contract accepting a B side flat fee a whole year before the fight.

Can you give us one example of that ever happening before?

Thought not. This isn't Oscar planning ahead. This is Oscar deperately trying to stop Canelo's career from turning into a train wreck.
Example of flat fee or example of agreeing to a fight months before the actual fight date? Because both have happened before in boxing, just not for a fight projected to make this much revenue. In reality, why does historic precedence mean it's not logical or realistic?

You guys argue about the timing to deflect the view that K2 and Trip have become more business like than they boasted to not be. If the money was 50-50 there would be no arguments from the Golovkin fan boys. The message would just be....hope Alvarez doesn't back out. You know, the same crap said about Ward.

Lastly, using Alvarez last ppv fight as a baseline is statistically slanted. I understand your haste to paint a bad picture but one data point doesn't define Alvarez ability to draw.

Out of curiosity, what does K2 stand to gain or lose by signing an agreement today for a fight next year? The obvious in case someone loses clause would be included in presume.

$0!!! Which is what Canelo should counter offer K2. Let him go back to his usual $2,000,000 for fighting BUMS on their way too JAIL!

I bet you hear and now that Saunders fights Canelo before GGG???
This line of thinking is ******.

Oscar would be cutting off his nose to spite his face.

Canelo only had a $3.5 guarantee against Smith and it bombed on PPV.

Unless he can get BJS in the ring, tell me what great options he has?

His JMW days are over, his reputation has taken a huge hit, and GG already holds 3 of 4 the belts and is considered the 'Man' of the division.

By Oscar refusing to give GG more money, he's actually preventing Canelo from making huge money, and the pressure to fight GG will only increase.

Canelo is not in a great position right now.

        • Golovkin wants the fight right now.

Alvarez won't even consider it until September 2017, at the earliest.

Seriously, people, stop fooling yourselves. It's obvious who is running.

Golovkin is making peanuts? His last paycheck was five million plus..how much you making cuz? More than he'll make? He made north of 8 million this year in fights alone not counting endorsements..ya'll like to talk that shhh like we can't look up the facts ourselves. Why should he take 10 million flat? Hell even Oscar who was needed by both Pacquaio and Mayweather didn't pull that bullshhh.

Signing that offer right now doesn't make the fight happen any sooner. All it does is potentially screw him. If Alvarez really wants the fight for September, Golovkin can sign this supposed offer come June or July and absolutely nothing will be lost.

Blaming Golovkin for the fight not happening makes zero ****ing sense.

He shouldn't take a BS offer.

Oscar should sit down and reach a compromise.
