GGG would earn more that $6million total for fighting Jacobs and BJS, and he doesn't need to choose between them and Canelo. He could fight both before Canelo is ready for him.

By the time Canelo is ready, GGG could be holding all 4 belts in the MW division, which is where Canelo will be fighting from now on.

It would make no sense for him to accept Oscar's first offer when he has a whole year to negotiate for something better.

De la Hoya knows that Triple GGG should get some of the PPV money. The lion's share obviously goes to Canelo and they all know that but what about 5%, 10%? Something. He is the biggest name in boxing today behind Canelo. However, triple G needs to get him in the ring so negotiate a big money rematch clause if he wins. You take what you get can just to get the man in the ring.

Once GGG destroys nelo there won't be no rematch. Nelo woint deserve one and porobabky won't want one. Tsaje the money and run springs to mind
