I agree 65/35 is fair,but I'll be honest and say if the offer is 70/30 and they don't take it I'll be disappointed.
With that being said, I'm getting to the point of wanting GGG to not bother with Canelo,and move on because this will fall back on Canelo, not GGG. He can stay at MW just to get the last belt and beat Hopkins record, then move up and continue the journey.

De La Hoya needs to pick his words more carefully. Did he really actually say "...Golovkin is the one doing the running"? As it happens, the fight will be all the better for the 2 year delay. Canelo needed the extra time for a number of reasons. The problem is that DLH played his cards all wrong. He has Canelo looking like an idiot when from all the video footage I've seen of him he seems a decent, respectful guy. Why am I even still talking about this back and forth BS.

What Oscar doesn't realize is that he's already lost the PR battle. The narrative has already been set, and everyone outside of Canelo's family thinks he's ducking and that the offer is a low ball. Him going out and saying "we're not ducking, he's ducking" Isn't going to work now.

All that's left is for them to work out a deal, and get taken clean out.
