With that being said, I'm getting to the point of wanting GGG to not bother with Canelo, and move on because this will fall back on Canelo, not GGG. He can stay at MW just to get the last belt and beat Hopkins record, then move up and continue the journey.
      Agree 100%

BJS is saying he's serious this time about taking the fight so call him on it. Both fighters will be well paid, with the bout taking place in the UK.

Golovkin sells about 100k, Canelo sells about 400k

        that is 80/20

all up, Cotto made 12mil for Mayweather

I agree that 10mil is not great money, but it is good money

put it this way..... it is an absolute fkn fortune compared to the p1ss-offer that you expect Jacobs and Saunders to take

way better fighters than Golovkin have taken way less

De La Hoya needs to pick his words more carefully. Did he really actually say "...Golovkin is the one doing the running"? As it happens, the fight will be all the better for the 2 year delay. Canelo needed the extra time for a number of reasons. The problem is that DLH played his cards all wrong. He has Canelo looking like an idiot when from all the video footage I've seen of him he seems a decent, respectful guy. Why am I even still talking about this back and forth BS.

The networks take 50% right of the bat. So that $50 million is now split $10/$15.

But the difference is Canelo will probably get Saunders next and GGG will be fighting the usual $500K bum. All his GOOD fights never happen because of money. His team is soo delusional. U see where it said that K2 submitted an offer they thought was fair??? I bet it was 50/50 or 60/40 with 60 probably being for GGG.

Canelo has options while GGG won't pay or can't pay REAL fighters. He'll get another tavern bum.

                  they want Hopkins record

I don't think Saunders, Jacobs, or Canelo will happen until then

Why don't dlh offer GGG just a flat fee of £5million? Then you will truly see GGG run and nelo really would want to sign contract!

Him going out and saying "we're not ducking, he's ducking" Isn't going to work now.

All that's left is for them to work out a deal, and get taken clean out.
Sure... let's see if Abel or Loeffler will ever state in future interviews if they still want Alvarez for that check.
