You my friend is a complete fool goldenboy holds all the cards in this and if ggg wants the fight and recognition of stardom that he lacks he must agree to what goldenboy says, every sensible fan knows he deserves a split of no more then 35% but at end of day fight will only happen on goldenboy terms with canelo having other options now especially if he comes back in February likes being discussed then Saunders in may for wbo belt getting even more leverage since the belts is all that matter to ggg but he still chasing after this fightComment

He had nothing to lose and everything to gain against Floyd.
You've got to be an idiot if you think Ward was serious about fighting GG. And I say that as a HUGE fan of Andre's.Comment

GBP does not hold all of the cards.
Canelo's last PPV has just flopped, he's out injured, and he's under enormous pressure to fight GG.Comment

If goldenboy didn't hold all the cards why didn't fight happen in September like suppose to? Why is it still being discussed to happen on a date goldenboy wants now? Canelo lowest ppv total is still higher then only time ggg fought on ppv and guy can't get back on there without canelo but he such a international star... canelo trainer already said that he will prob return in February on reg HBO card since December show was scrapped because of injury with 158 target weight and what pressure is he under exactly? If that was the case the khan and smith fights wouldn't of happened and HBO would of forced him to take fight already doesn't matter what you fanboys thinks it's what HBO thinks and canelo only one generating ppvs for them right now twice a yearComment

I'm a big fan of both fighters.
He's obviously right.
I suspect that something like 75-25 will get it done. Maybe a shade higher for GGG - 70/30? But despite the fact that it will take GGG to make the fight a 1m buys fight Canelo is indeed the bigger star so he should get the lion's share.
I think this will be a great fight and there will be a rematch. The terms of the rematch, after GGG wins, will be more even.Comment

How much does it cost on TV?If you want to watch the biggest sporting event of the year, you should really go to Mexico, where the TV companies have struck a deal to show the fight for free, or find your way to the Philippines, where four stations will be broadcasting the bout. If travelling to south-east Asia or Latin America is beyond your means, you could do worse than watching the fight on TV in France or Spain, which will be considerably cheaper than coverage in the UK and Germany. Here are a few options from around the world:
