this fight wont do more than 1.2million ppv buys IMO. 10mill is alot of money to turn down. in this sinking ppv market i dont see this challenging the top 5 record ppvs for boxing.

And again you are using numbers that this fight won't be paid for by other countries, best example you could use was cotto/canelo which this fight is on par with, you attempted to use numbers this fight won't even sniff to try and prove a point of ggg taking all international money when it won't be more then the us/Mexico money and will be making less then what's being offered now, you actually made a case for why he should accept offer presented to him nowComment

The flat fee is equalled to 10% you nunce. the PPV downside was a joke. Of course Team GGG gets a percentange of any 25% revenue. Guys like you are so insecure about protecting your hero you bypass optional and beneficial scenarios to better this fight...
and do NSB posters again need to remind you of empirical merit regarding Alvarez' accomplishment over ggg's resume?
Who on GGGs resume are equal to Alvarez's resume, including a 152 risk for Floyd?
Why does he have to be 'My Hero' just because I defend him from clowns like you who are completely biased?
Why are you comparing resumes you fool?
Life is defined by circumstances and opportunity.
Focus on the actual fight, looking from both sides.
Canelo deserves more money, because he's a bigger name. But he doesn't deserve anywhere near 75% of what's left over. It's a joke.
Unless Floyd comes out of retirement, Canelo can't make the amount of money that a fight against GG generates.
Although he's huge in Mexico and is very popular, he doesn't do huge numbers without a big name opponent. Also, he's out until next May, and his first fight at MW will probably be against a lesser opponent. Within that timeframe, GG has a real opportunity to fight Jacobs and BJS, which would give him the opportunity to obtain all of the belts and improve his PPV numbers.
Canelo's last fight against Smith did 250-300,000 PPV's.
GG's last fight made him $5m, and the PPV figures were over 500,000.Comment

Canelo resume doesn't mean anything, the only thing that is relevant is what happened inside of that ring the few times he has fought a legit opponent. Floyd and Lara are the only threats considered p4p. He lost against Floyd, and some feel he lost against Lara.Last edited by truth always; 10-30-2016, 10:52 AM.Comment

80-20 ... but on condition it is in May 2017 with rematch clause for September at 60-40 in favor of winner of May bout - ffs get it done. No rematch leads to redistribution of May fight at 50-50. Rematch is null and void if there is a genuine K.O - lets see Canelo come out swinging and Golovkin boxing - lolComment

Pointless debate. Canelo and golden boy know that ggg deserves a percentage of the ppv sales. They're not offering it because it's a more indirect way to duck the fight as opposed to the previous method of giving away your belt. They know that gullible Canelo fans will buy into this dumb excuse and it allows them to save face with the idiots who don't know any better.
Oscar's duped the less intelligent people into believing that they're trying to secure the fight.Comment

Get real.
Tell Oscar to stop the crap and tell him to sit down face to face to reach a fair compromise.Comment
