So in not so many words Monroe just described himself as easy work.

Did the article say the fight had to be at 168? Didn't read it, legit question. I was under the impression he just wants him to fight Ward.
Personally I think Ward would smash GGG at any weight, and even more so now at his acclimated LHW.
Ward has the skills to stay away from any threatening onslaught GGG presents and would just pick him apart in spots.
Any healthy weight Ward could make, GGG is no threat to him.
I would prefer GGG fight a solid run if the mill SMW then try to target Ward, Ward crushes the Golovkin train.Comment

What are the good fights at 160? I have my opinion, but the fan boys and Sanchez say no one at 160 or 168 lasts to the final bell. The same folks claim no one at 160 will fight him. Well, go to 168 where no one has turned him down. It's not all about Ward or Kovalev. It's convenient to dismiss those two fights since they are top dogs at two weights up. This has been done before....by many a fighter. Why model a career around fighting Alvarez instead of building Trip into an Alvarez level fighter regarding drawing power.Nobody should be attacked for saying it but there are still some good fights at middle and it'd be a shame if we can't get them.Wards just gone up because he can't make supermiddle no more and Canelo won't move up until he absolutely can't make 155 anymore so it's not like any of the others fight bigger men than themselves yet so it is a double standard that because GGG hasn't yet he's somehow cowardly.Hopefully he fights Jacobs Saunders and co and maybe then someone like Degale.Jump up two divisions? Who else did that other than Khan and Brook? Weren't they called ****** for doing so?Comment

Did it even release in Mexico? It did horrible and was a shıt film, poorly done, putrid acting by DeNiro. Director couldn't direct, but goddamn that actress I would ******** all night...
Duran is very descriptive and detailed about the Alvarez vs Ggg bout. But nice try with the lie
The Hall of Fame legend - 'Hands of Stone' Roberto Duran - is firmly in the corner of the underdog, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (48-1-1, 34KOs), and he's confident the Mexican superstar can, and will, dish out the first career defeat to Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs).
"Duran visited Mexico to promote his movie "Hands of Stone", which opens in the country on November 4th, and he took the opportunity to discuss the anticipated fight between Canelo and GGG."

Willie Monroe continuing the pathetic trend of fighters within the same division calling for the champion to move up instead of trying to dethrone him themselves.
So far we have:
1. Willie Monroe
2. Gabe Rosado
3. Peter Quillin
4. Canelo Alvarez
Why can't these chumps be more like David Lemieux and Sergiy Derevyanchenko and want to be the one to beat the champion.Comment

Yes LOOOONG TIME ago, Ward freaking fought in olympics at 175 lbs Ward is a naturally bigger guy. No one said Floyd or cun-nello to move up and fight GGG no no no he a GIANT YA'll, yet every hater wants Ggg to move up two weight classes gtfo, so cun_tnello and the rest of losers in mw would be saferLast edited by MantisToboggan; 10-28-2016, 02:42 PM.Comment
