Comments Thread For: Roach Admits: Crawford is NOT My Favorite Fight For Pacquiao

Freddie Roach, who trains eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38KOs), admits that a potential fight with WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford (29-0, 20KOs) is "not his favorite fight."

Yeah, he's got a taste for that easy money, anything less would feel like a waste of time.

Roach wants to run away so bad but knows there's nowhere to run or hide. At least he's somewhat admitting Crawford is too much for pacman

Man I'm no expert or anything but I don't see the hype around Crawford, yes he's very good but he's not untouchable, I don't see pac losing that fight

Postol is all boxer he is not going to be easy to land flush on with all your power the thing with that fight was that everybody thought TC was just a big puncher that will take one to land one , he showed just how wide his bookends are and that he is quite the complete fighter thats improving every time out , he hasnt peaked yet , I dont see that for another 2 yrs or 4 fights .

Manny can really box but he likes to come forward , when you weigh up age peaks of both guys and physical advantages for Crawford I think Manny is very KOable for Crawford .

And thats why I dont see this fight happening , they will talk about it as it gets both guys publicity , but it wont happen in the ring , TC is just too dangerous for them to take that fight .

Terrance is a hard fight period. Definitely harder than the floyd fight. As roach said "hes like a young mayweather" who himself was more aggressive and still had the high ring iq. Pacquiao, like canelo like it when guys come to him. But unlike canelo pacman is better at picking his shots. I think vargas is a bad fight for pacquiao. Hes definitely being overlooked. Pacquiao kinda peaked when he got ko'd by marquez imo

Very true I think Vargas is a live dog and has his chance to step out of the shadows to be highly motivated , he will fight the fight of his life in this one , Manny better not have over looked him , I doubt Manny would he is too much a ATG pro for that , very good fighter Jessie Vargas .
