He didn't make ONE fight people wanted to see happen.
Who's fault is it that PBC sucks and the entire stable is either fighting mismtches or aren't fighting? Who's fault is it that the heavyweights like Wilder/Fury/Klitschko/Joshoua aren't fighting each other? Who's fault was it that GGG couldn't get Jacobs?
How is not making ONE fight the main problem in boxing?[/QUOTE] I didn't say he was the sole problem, I said he was a large part of the problem. The 1 fight you're referring to happens to be the biggest fight that fans want to see made. Considering he has nobody else in his stable anymore that matters, he literally had 1 job! Make Canelo vs ggg. But no, instead we can China chinned lil khan and some dude named beefy. Haymon not matching his fighters tough and arum putting pac in with Bradley for a 3rd time and now with vargas is also part of the problem but no fight that they can put together matches up to Canelo vs ggg. Hence, Oscar is a large part of the problem.Comment

Yeah, you're right.
Frampton-Santa Cruz really ******.
Easter vs. Commey ******.
Thurman vs. Porter really ******.
Stevenson vs. Williams was boring and ******.
Fonfara vs. Smith ******.
Charlo-Jackson and Charlo-Trout ****** double.
Jack vs. Bute ******.
Spence vs. Algieri ******.
D. Garcia vs. Guerrero ****** too.
Cuellar-Mares and Charlo-Williams are going to suck too. Top 6 vs top 6 in a division is always a recipe for a sucky fight.Comment

I'm really getting tired of de la Hoyas gaffes and incompetence. As a promoter you're supposed to hype. Hyping is definitely a skill and some do it better than others. PBC's ringside teams trying to polish the turd through gritted teeth on another bum match up is example enough. But I guarantee that de la Hoya taking a dump on a year Golden boy was definitely big part of isn't exactly stoking the ppv audience for a big 2017. 900k cotto, 600k khan, 300k smith. You're doing it wrong Oscar.Comment

This year, Oscar has given us:Oscar is not to blame here is AL haymon who you should be blaming he has all the talent and doesn't make them fight each other that is why UK boxing is becoming more popular after garcia vs thurman I expect both of them to fight bums for 2 years before stepping up again thank you- Canelo vs. welterweight Khan on PPV...a mismatch and a fight that no one wanted.
- Canelo vs. Liam Smith on PPV...another mismatch and a fight that no one wanted.
- Gabe Rosado vs. Willie Monroe, one of the most boring fights of the year.
- 52-year-old Hopkins vs. Joe Smith, a fight no one wanted.
- Luis Ortiz vs. 44-year-old journeyman Tony Thompson, a mismatch and a fight no one wanted.
- Excuse after excuse, delay after delay on Canelo vs GGG...after telling us he would pursue the fight
So yes, Oscar bears a lot of the blame for bad fights in 2016.Comment

GBP is going down in flames...- Their only star, Canelo, has gone from 900K PPV buys to 350K PPV buys to 250K PPV buys. GBP is taking Canelo's career in the wrong direction.
- Lemieux went from a main event fight on HBO to a PPV undercard to an off-TV fight.
- One of their world champions, Jorge Linares, hasn't fought in the U.S. since 2014.
- Their other world champion, Francisco Vargas, has fought once this year.
- Potential headliner Luis Ortiz ditched them.
- Not a single other headliner in their whole stable.
All downhill since they booted Schaefer out.Comment
