I agree with Oscar. This has been a very uneven year in regards to fights and fighters activity was down.

Only 3 fights stick out this year Frampton vs Santa Cruz, Thurman vs Porter, and Vargas vs Salido. That's it.

PBC started out hot but faded late. Showtime was hot then faded. HBO started cold and is finishing on a high note. But all in all this year wasn't strong.

Their was only 1 fighter who benefited from this year in a major that was Carl Frampton. He actually challenged himself compares to his other contemporaries.

2017 needs to be redeem year for the fighters and fans.

is ODLH sober? first thing He says that actually makes sense! of course 2016 was a bad year not mention the garbage PPV events that GBP put together! other fights might be mismatch but they are at least for FREE! unlike the PPV crap that top rank & GBP have put out!

What's that you were saying? PBC names don't fight each other?

Yes it was a terrible yr for boxing in large part thanks to Oscar. He didn't make the fight fans wanted and instead put on 2 ppv mismatches that anyone with sense knew were predetermined outcomes a once they were signed.

I agree with Oscar. Haymon and Schaefer took all his fighters only to leave them rotting like potatoes. Broner, Thurman, Peterson and others would have had 3 fights each last year if they're with Oscar.

When are those fights going to happen? Next year? How is making fights next year going to make up for PBC sucking this year?

He didn't make ONE fight people wanted to see happen.

Who's fault is it that PBC sucks and the entire stable is either fighting mismtches or aren't fighting? Who's fault is it that the heavyweights like Wilder/Fury/Klitschko/Joshoua aren't fighting each other? Who's fault was it that GGG couldn't get Jacobs?

How is not making ONE fight the main problem in boxing?

Oscar is not to blame here is AL haymon who you should be blaming he has all the talent and doesn't make them fight each other that is why UK boxing is becoming more popular after garcia vs thurman I expect both of them to fight bums for 2 years before stepping up again thank you
