Sad but true! Andre Ward is not a loud-mouthed Black man who is willing to be the "bad guy" like Ali, Tyson, Mayweather, and Broner. Usually those kind of Black fighters don't get a lot of following in the sport! I can't understand why, but I bet if Ward became more like Mayweather, and less like Timothy Bradley, he would see his PPV numbers go through the roof!

If you can't get a buzz going for this fight then you shouldn't be a promoter.
Boxing has fallen into an abyss in America. Golf, tennis, and soccer all get more exposure than boxing, it's sad really.

It's not the way he is out of the ring, it's the way he is inside the ring. Just look at Joshua. He's not the most dynamic personality, but sells a ton of tickets. It's due to him being explosive between the ropes where it matters. Ward doesn't have that to fall back on.

Also, Ward is a dirty fighter. And I can't stand that. Not forgetting that he's delusional like crazy.

There's nothing to like about Ward. Absolutely nothing.

Floyd was not explosive! He was a defensive fighter, used elbows and forearms, yet everybody paid to see him fight, even though they constantly criticized his fighting style! Broner is a clown, humping people, using elbows, etc., but he sells! Why do people want to see Broner more than Crawford? Why did Arum want Broner instead of Crawford? Broner puts asses in seats, that's why!

Broner put asses in seats because he's entertaining to watch. Crawford is more boring to watch than Ward is. And that's saying something.

Against Postal, people were booing because of how horribly hideous he was to watch. it has nothing to do with his colour or his personality.

Again, Crawford is a modern version of Mayweather, but no one wants to see him, yet if Mayweather was to return vs. Canelo, it easily sells a million PPVs! Bernard Hopkins is "boring" yet he's still selling! Why? We'll agree to disagree!

I didn't see any reason for DQ in the Kessler fight but to each is own.

As far as Dawson he wanted the fight at 168 that's his dumbass fault. Ward didn't ask for the fight at 168, he just obliged Dawson.

Dawson said both 168 and 175, but Ward kept on pushing and pushing for 168 because he knew how much of an advantage he'd have if that were to happen.

But either way, it still doesn't mean anything in terms as a win. Dawson wasn't able to compete being so depleted the way he was.
