I thought Broner was gonna fight Ricky Burns. I think Granados is actually a much tougher fight for Broner. AB doesnt fight well against pressure fighters (See Maidana and Porter fights). If Granados fights that relentless style he used against Amir Imam, its gonna be a long frustrating nite for AB.

      For sure.

His losses against Frankie and Diaz are legit, but they were really close fights, against very talented fighters, both are considerably better than AB. He didn't lose the Solomon fight and his first loss wasn't even supposed to be an official fight. The draws against Tyner and Cintron were a joke as well. This is all in 24 fights and he's only 27. He hasn't had the luxury of being spoon fed to 20-0, he's had to fight everyone put in front of him, he's still learning.

He reminds me of a bigger Salido, the guy's output is insane, I don't see AB winning this fight if it goes the distance.

I think AB will stop this guy with ease.

Not with ease, he'll have to work for it if he's gonna win. It's possible though, Granados has been down a few times and AB is a sharp puncher. I just don't think he's active enough to win a decision.

manny pac? 4 million dollars plus ppv? turned down matthysse. are you forgetting these things? what tough fight has he ever taken? yeah after he got beat up by maidana and porter at catch weight people considered them tough but lets not pretend they were top guys at that point. maidana was recently schooled by alexander and porter lost to brook recently. they were seen as acceptable risks and he failed. its not like he's taking on spence, thurman type guys. those guys have big upsides. guys like maidana and porter were thought to have reached their potential and broners team thought they could beat them...nope.

                  this

Broner still fights like he has his size advantages at 135, where he could end most fights with one shot.

and he still thinks hes fighting the same bums that he's fought most his career that go down without much of a fight.

We don't know how much he turned down to face Pac, I'm not taking Bob's word for it, although you obviously are, like you do with everything pro Top Rank/HBO. We don't know what the terms and conditions of the offer were. And when did he turn down Matthysse?

Maidana was a top 10 guy at welterweight, Broner jumped up two weight classes to fight him. Porter was and still is a top 5 welterweight. Losing fights doesn't mean you can't be a top guy. Whether or not he beat them isn't relevant, I don't like Broner or think highly of him, he's a B level fighter at best, but there's no doubt he's willing to take challenges. He's now fighting Granados, who's high risk low reward.

When has a Spence or Thurman fight ever been on the table for Broner? For starters, those guys are two of the best welters around atm, nobody wants to see them fight Broner, we want top welters to fight other top welters, which Broner isn't. The guy isn't even committed to welter, he keeps moving up and down.

                      You're a walking contradiction man.
