Depends on who Bud is fighting. But truthfully, he can take a soft touch as far as I'm concerned. Coming off a grueling camp preparing for Postol, he's earned it. Fans have to be realistic sometimes.

Fully agree, he took care of his biggest threat. Just getting back in the ring and staying active would help keep him fresh on us boxing fans minds.

As a Bud Crawford fan I think an easy touch would be understandable if it were a big name but there really isnt any big names or former big names at 140. I think Eduard Troyanovsky is his best option but to get another champ to sign this close to December Uncle Bob would have to wave a lot of $ in the air and again we are talking Bob Arum...

I hear you. I hear DiBella is offering Felix Diaz but I doubt that fight is taking place. It'll probably be Troyanovsky is which sort of lame but at least it brings a title.

These in-between fights are never really fan-friendly. There was a time HBO would pair it with a solid, competitive matchup on the undercard but that's far too much to ask for these days.

You have this bad habit of taking quotes from others and applying it to everyone else. It makes having a boxing conversation with you moot. Manny versus Rios was understandable after the KO loss. It was just a ****ty opponent...understandably. Some people didn't like that reality.

But more important...are you really that sore over the whole Mayweather-Pacquiao situation? This is what you bring up now? My friend...move on with your life.
