I did not score this fight when I watched it and have not watched it in at least 3 years but can remember being pissed off DLH ran the last 3 rounds but still felt he won the fight 8 rounds to 4..........I think Oscar would easliy beat him in a rematch and maybe even stop him.

They should just fight again and get it over with. A second fight will answer alot of questions.

Honestly, saying Trinidad won this fight would be like me saying Corrales was ahead of Freitas on the cards after 7 rounds. Corrales lost 6 of the first 7 and I would never try to justify him winning up to the point of the knockdowns. GIVE ME A ****ING BREAK, TRINIDAD FANS.

He probablt is a great fighter, he sure as hell is a HOF. but i dont see him in the top 5 all time in any of the classes he fought in.

What I like about him is he can boxe, he can even brawl, he can dish it out, he can take it: he isnt super in none of them but he is good in all of them. He has got a big heart, and his only real problem is stamina.

The thing that pisses me off is when they compare his boxing skills, footwork or defense to great pure boxers, like mayweather or whitaker. The dude is obviously a good boxer but he moves way too much and way too nervously to be effective for a whole fight: in the era of 15 rounders he would not have done so well. Also he used to rely too much on footwork and too little on upper body movement (his shoulder roll does not work that well, btw). Someone said he changed too many trainers: that might be one of the reasons why is not "schooled" the way he could have been.
