You didn't provide a link that said anything about turning down 3 mil.

$3 million is still twice the amount he made vs. Quillin. It's also twice as much as what Lemieux got vs. GGG.

You're assuming based on a quote. Where is the solid evidence he turned down 3 million?

Use common sense before believing everything you see on BS. We don't know the exact details of the deal. What if GGG wants to give him 3 million and keep most of the gate, TV rights, and merchandise?

Maybe he offered $3 million to Jacobs and wants to keep the bigger share of the revenue.

No he didn't. They are negotiating the fight.

The bias and hate on this board is hilarious!

said it before and i'll say it again.

I'll fight GGG for 200k. Hook it up K2. I'll even bet on myself to last til the 6th.

Dead serious. Let's start a petition, LoadedWraps for GGG's next tune up. I'm affordable and fan friendly.

So he turned down getting a shot at winning four belts. I see. Guy must be really terrified.

Most of your post is on point but $3M would be at least half of the revenue for this fight. Jacobs would be literally insane to turn down that type of money (I'm not saying he did). We will find out in a couple days.

I think people are misinterpreting what Jacobs said about fighting two Quillins instead of Golovkin. Jacobs told reporters back in July that he turned down an offer from K2 that was equivalent to what he made vs Quillin.

Later he told Nestor Gibbs that he could fight 2 Quillins instead of Golovkin, implying he could accept $1.5mill from Golovkin or take another fight with Quillin for that same amount instead.

It's never been stated that K2 has offered Jacobs $3mill or that Jacobs has turned that much down. For one thing, K2 would be morons to offer a practical nobody like Jacobs that much money. For another, this fight even on ppv, wouldn't be worth more than $6mill at best, and no way would they give a non-attraction like Jacobs parity.

So in summary, stop the nonsense that Jacobs was offered $3mill. Also, stop the nonsense that is this negotiation period, call the god damn purse, and let Danny Jacobs' b*tch *ss vacate like Al's been planning this whole time.

Jacobs wouldn't make $3 million fighting Floyd Mayweather, let alone Golovkin. Golovkin's promoter can't even afford to pay Golovkin $3 million. He sure as hell wouldn't pay Jacobs that amount.
