I was kind of fearful for Loma but he fights better against better competition and his focus is amazing. Even if he gets hit flush by Walters he'll recover he's not small like Darchinyan and Nonito.

I think Loma might put on a masterclass performance as long as stays consistent and focused. He's got the following advantages and it doesn't even have to do with skills - agility, coordination, balance, speed and reflexes. Now you add his skills and strength and as long as he fights a mobile fight Walters will be dissected and dismantled. Now if Loma doesn't fight his fight that's where you would lean towards Walters as he's been in more wars, is stronger and more powerful of the two, at least on paper.

If Loma comes in at his best I think he will make Walters look amateurish.

People will be surprised. Walters might even get knocked down or out.

Is Kavaliauskas still on the undercard? He's disappeared from the event on BoxRec (http://boxrec.com/show/740409)

Edit: Looks like Fernando Carcamo has stepped in for him. What happened, an injury? Undercard looking really, really weak now

DISTRICT 9 rages tonight once again. Be safe on the streets once Loma beats the **** out of Walters.

I honestly don't think Loma is hype. He's the real deal win or lose. However, I don't think Walters is on the same technical level. H's got solid power and is dangerous the whole fight but you can't knock out what you can't hit. Loma's aware of this. I predict a UD, maybe more easily than people expect.

Anyone else think that Walters face looked very drained and tired? Wouldn't be surprised after all his struggles with weight, but man, he looked wasted.

Hope not. Would ruin an epic fight.

Anyway, whether he is or not, I'm still picking Loma to surprise and take it clearly over a slow and sluggish looking Walters.

I'll look at him as hype if he loses. Looking from his skill set I don't think I have anyone as gifted as he is so if he loses here it change my opinion on him. He is the best fighter I've seen. He does a lot of little things people don't notice and most of the books agree that this shouldn't be that close of a fight he's like a 9/1 favorite.
