I am officially changing my vote to Lomachenko.


I know it's only 17 seconds but still, lol.

Hard for me to pick a winner because I'm a big fan of both guys. I feel like Loma is just the more skilled boxer but Walters is really good and he has that knockout power. Loma by UD I guess with a strong possibility of him getting dropped or KO'd.

All I know is that this is one fight I've been looking forward to for a long while now.

The odds on Bovada are -800 Loma / +500 Walters. I cannot believe it's that wide. I think at 5/1 on my money I have to place a bet on Walters even though I don't think he will win.

Idk, maybe I'm just sleeping on Lomachenko. I was also surprised that he was something like a 50-1 favorite to beat Rocky Martinez.

Needless to say this a great matchup, I just love these fights amidst the great dry spells in boxing. Vasyl is my favorite fighter to date to watch, always a pleasure to see and such an entertainer with his footwork.

That being said, it's still a fight between two warriors. I am intrigued to see what happens if Walters allows Lomachenko to get close and size him up, what will happen in the exchanges? I won't pretend to know what happens or get too involved with it but, you best believe I am tuning it to see it. Knockouts and clear one sided decisions tell much more than close fights.

Walters size and reach will be a great factor, but so will Lomachenko's footwork and defense. I am just glad that the fight was made in the first place. I have a gut feeling this will be Loma vs Russel Jr. all over again but I could easily be wrong.
