Jacobs? This bout is 50/50... if Golovkin fights 3 times a year, who else at 160 is there for Golovkin? Or is milking those already questionable defenses (*Bhop) the 2017 plan? Again, Golovkin needs the WBO to cement the legacy.

They said they would move up or come down from 168. People are tolling if they think Groves or DeGale can't sell like Chavez Jr. or Froch.
    I'm with you.

If he can't get the fights, I think he should definitely move up. But I was just responding to your comments regarding why people weren't talking about fights against Jack and Ramirez. I guess we're all hopeful that he can get those other fights first.

Everyone wants to see GGG move up to 168. But I think people want to see the fight with Canelo first. That's why no one is pushing for him to move up right away.

Actually, the reason why Golovkin can't move to 168 for a title is because he'd mostly be favored to stay there.

If Golovkin were to beat any title holder NOW at 168, it would be very very hard to continue the narrative for Golovkin dropping back down and wanting all the belts at 160. In theory, Golovkin is the undisputed Champion at 160, so if were to beat any top 5, meaning title holder at 168, there's no point for him to move down.

Of course, however, there's still the risk at 168. Ramirez, DeGale, Jack, or even easier, Sturm. I can't see how they would be easier than Brook...

K2 camp are in a real hot spot right now, and time isn't an advantage.
