Who else can GGG fight for 10 million?

Then in that case, why have the conversation that GGG is at fault if, in your own words, your opinion is complete ****? Why discuss anything then.
The point of the discussion is that the fight hasn't happened and the reason is because of the $10 million flat fee. It's completely useless to blame GGG's side because he's not accepting an offer that undermines his value. I guess if GGG offered Canelo the flat fee first, we should not have the same discussion?
Nobody wants to fight GGG ok? I'm saying that in order to get himself into a position where he can afford to pay opponents enough so they will get into the ring with him then Golovkin has to make compromises. It isn't fair but that is the only way. Anyway it is 10 million dollars, he should count himself lucky that he is fortunate enough to make that kind of money.Comment

Lol I'm being biased by saying boxers should generally be paid by how much they are worth and that there are adjustments for things like weight/location/titles/etc? Who exactly if I'm being biased for by saying that it should apply for all fights/fighters?
I literally have to ask 2 questions. Is GGG, economically wise, worth more than $10 million to this fight? If he is, is there any other factors (weight/location/etc) that should result in GGG having to give up millions of dollars?
It gives him more exposure, sure, beating Canelo wouldn't make him a biggest draw was the point. Those Mexicans that are buying Canelo PPVs are suddenly going to buy GGG PPVs going forward.Comment

The Khan fight did what? 600k buys? I doubt BJS or Jacobs would do more than that. Khan brings a lot of ****** buys to the table - Jacobs, nor BJS fill a niche market like Khan does. That's why Khan has made a lot more money than guys with better careers than him.
A Cotto rematch might do 800k... Doubt it, though.
With GGG, we're talking 1.3-1.5 territory, for as long as the fight has been hyped.
It's only fair GGG gets his fair shake of what he's bringing to the table.
A boxer should be paid based on what he is bringing to the fight - mostly based on how many more asses in seats, and how many eyeballs on television sets.
Basically, the live gate would probably cover GGG's share, and all the PPV would be left for Canelo. 10 million sounds about right for the live gate - maybe give or take a few million.
Lets be real, with upside Golovkin makes a few million more at best.Comment

That's exactly what I just said. It makes GGG more recognizable and a bigger draw in general but he's not a bigger than than Canelo. If all those guys that support Canelo don't go to GGG then he can't be bigger than Canelo.Comment

I did not say my opinion is complete **** I said our opinion holds 0 weight. If you think that equates to **** then speak for yourself.

Even then, think about the 2 things I underlined here.
1. No one wants to fight him (feeds the notion that people are scared of him basically)
2. That the offer isn't fair (exactly what I'd said all along)
Basically the fact of the matter is, Canelo isn't willing to get into the ring with him on fair terms and will only do so for an unreasonable amount of money (basically, he wants to "wins" outside the ring by basically making GGG his ***** during negotiations).
What exactly should I think of those people?
If, despite both those points, you would rather blame GGG for not accepting the flat fee as opposed to blaming the guy who doesn't want to play fair, well I don't know what to tell you.Comment

He's not just compromising by accepting a $10 mil flat fee. He's literally getting ****d out of money he deserves. The guy may be out more than 50% of what he deserves if this fight makes more than enough money (1.5 million buys should do the trick).

I don't blame anybody. Canelo is in a position to get nearly any fight he wants with whomever he wants and Golovkin isn't. I am merely saying he should just take the 10 mill and fight Canelo, beat him, and call the shots from here on out. He beats Canelo and the money will be there for guys like Eubank and BJS.Comment

With the fans he already has plus those that go over he can. They don't even have to be fans. Look at Mayweather I bet most people who bought his ppv only wanted to see him lose. It could be the same with Golovkin.Comment
