I can assure you they wouldn't. Not if it was soon after they'd lost to GG. You're kidding yourself. Every boxing fan would be clamouring for Canelo to fight GG.

GGG is struggling to make the Jacobs fight as it is and BJS is way harder to deal with than Jacobs.
It's illogical to think that Canelo will fight BJS first, as again, he's out until May, and it would be highly unlikely that Oscar would put him in with a guy like BJS in his first fight at the weight.

I believe that Frank Warren has already had brief talks with Loeffler regarding a fight early next year. They won't be easy fights to make, but since the Brook fight, BJS has been given a huge confidence boost. And I believe Loeffler will agree to give BJS the terms he requires, because he'll obviously be aware of just how important it would be to obtain the WBO belt before negotiating with GBP.

Good thing I never said there was a definitive criteria that you can't budge from. Like I said, common sense. Money is obviously the deciding factor for fights and that's often why purse splits are split a certain way. You obviously add/subtract based on weight, location, rematch clauses, etc.

GGG's economic value alone for this fight is going to be more than $10 million.

Getting $10 million out of a $100 mil fight isn't the same as getting $10 mil out of a $20 mil fight, which is why, you'll need common sense.

You're obviously having double standards in favor of Golovkin. If Golovkin offered Canelo a $10 mill flat fee you would be saying that Canelo only deserves that much.

There isn't anybody else at Middleweight to fight other than Eubank Jr. everyone else is a bum. Canelo isn't going to fight Jacobs right after GGG theoretically beats him which would be in January. He will fight BJS before Jacobs. GGG and BJS will not get in the ring together that much is certain, at least not before Canelo-BJS. You're acting as if GGG is about to pop off the top middleweight division when in reality he can't even make a fight with a mandatory in Jacobs.

I haven't once said Canelo will fight BJS his first outing at 160. I even specifically stated he will have a warm up at 160.

As for the BJS fight negotiations, I'll believe it when I see it...or read about it. BJS said Golovkins team offered him 2 million and BJS said that is a "****** figa"

Except I've already been on record saying Canelo deserves more than GGG. I think GGG deserves more than $10 million, meaninig I think Canelo deserves more than what I think GGG deserves.

The success of GGG/Brook in the UK - 02 sold out in 10 mins and 500 buys on Sky PPV - plus the recent decision by Sky to co-operate with Warren in screening his big shows on PPV, has changed the game regarding GGG and BJS. I think the money BJS is asking for would be there now, if he fought GGG in the UK.

That doesn't change the point whatsoever. If GGG offered Canelo 10 million flat fee you would be jumping on Canelo's head for not taking it.

Jacobs is making things very difficult, because he's now saying that he needs 10-12 weeks preparation, which is absolutely laughable. Unless he vacates, he will have to fight GG early next year.

Again, GG should have the opportunity to fight BJS before Canelo, because I don't think Canelo will fight BJS in May.
