Wlad maybe not at his best any more, but he still has more than enough to beat the likes of Browne. It is to put it bluntly, a mismatch.

That heavyweight nearly lost to a shot to pieces Chagiev. He is an easy touch.

Yeah, he's been pricing himself out. That's why he wouldn't take the fight before when Hearn had him top of his list.

Unless Hearn overpays him for the Dec date, I really don't know which direction they can go in.

Maybe Hearn has no choice but to overpay. Lets wait and see what happens because it has turned into a right mess.

Your Furry has gone mental & couldn't give the guy a rematch ffs.. & you have the audacity to complain about the guy who your idol beat & claimed he is the best HW... Can't have it both ways kiddo...
what you on about. I dont have the right to complain cause he ducked joshua to fight 'big daddy' lucas browne? This was wlads chance to end his career on a high and hes bottled it...

This is kind of sad. Browne isn't the regular champion anymore. So how does he get to bypass Oquendo, Ustinov or Ortiz. There is no "regular" champion as Chagaev retired. Klitschko should be fighting Ustinov in a semi final for the right to fight for the WBA title against the winner of Browne/Oquendo. Klitschko should either fight Parker for the WBO belt as the #2 contender or fight Joshua for big money & the IBF belt. He doesn't need the WBA belt as they are in the middle of a tourney. If he wants the WBA strap he should go forward in the tourney. Klitschko is looking for an easy title. I hope the WBA doesn't give in to this BS & allow Klitschko to fight for the WBA belt. He lost to Fury & he vacated so Klitschko is nothing more then a top contender. The rematch clause doesn't give him the right for a vacant title if Fury isn't the opponent. Ustinov is still in that bracket of the tourney. There are 4 guys left if Ortiz is no longer in it. Although Ortiz is listed on the Joshua undercard on Dec 10 fighting for the WBA "interim" belt. The Scott fight only has another WBA regional belt at stake.

Joshua's side offered Klitschko the fight regardless of the WBA title and with exactly the same terms.

              Quack Quack.
So lets see, after over a year of a layoff and being 40 years old, coming off a loss, what makes more sense, to jump into a fight immediately with a top ranked upcoming fighter (Which he was going to do originally) Or take advantage of a tuneup that comes with the WBA strap and then set up a potential unification mega fight in the summer?

I swear NSB is filled with a bunch of fan boys that barely hit puberty and don't know how to use logic.

Oh please shut up, no one is looking forward to or cares about any of the guys you mentioned fighting for the WBA belt over Wlad. All of them would be punching bags for Klitschko, even Browne is a punching bag, but atleast he holds a belt and is undefeated. Wlad is far more deserving than anyone in the division based on resume alone.

And I don't want to hear that Wladimir ducked Joshua because they both asked the WBA for permission for the fight. It's not like Wlad made any effort to avoid the fight. It just didn't work out at the moment.

I like this fight and think Browne will tell us exactly what Wlad has left.
Wlad looked vulnerable against Jennings. Many of us pointed it out on this site. Then he lost his next fight to another young HW in Fury. Browne is a soft 24-0 with his only decent win coming against an old & out of shape version of Ruslan Chagaev. He then failed his drug test. He has beaten nobody else. Sure he has a few faded names on his resume like James Toney & Travis Walker but he also had serious issues with Rudenko & Julius Long. At 37 he is nothing more than a HW with a padded record who scored a lucky home run punch against a fading former champion. Browne is an easy fight for Wlad & everyone knows it. He is not going to fight Wilder or Joshua & I doubt he fights Luis Ortiz. He's had a great career but I doubt he fights any of the top guys. If he wants to fight softer touches then why not fight Ustinov then the winner of Browne/Oquendo? His TV deal would be done by then & he could retire the WBA champion right before he is ordered to fight Ortiz...

james toney was right, wladimir is a complete *****. Thought you were going to try and redeem yourself wlad, taking on a tough challenge in joshua, if you beat him that would have been a great name to get on the list, and thing is its a winnable fight. But you really do have no heart wlad, thats why it makes me laugh when people think in a fury rematch he would come out throwing haymakers. A leopard cant change its spots, wlad was like a rabbit in the headlights, scared to open up with his punches in case he got punched back. This is an absolutely pathetic match up, browne is ****e, even if you werent going to fight joshua, theres better names out there than ****ing 'big daddy'. And i dont give two ****s if i upset you wlad fanboys, the guys shown a number of times that hes gutless for a boxer. The guy wants to get his greedy hands on a paper title and ride into the sunset fighting overmatched opponents in germany, im so glad fury beat this guy...
