    Nonito Donaire...Hall of Famer???

    Thoughts?

I lean towards a yes, maybe not first ballot, but definitely worthy...

    Elite level fighters he's beat:
-Vic Darchinyan (Potential Hall of Famer)
-Jorge Arce (Potential Hall of Famer)
-Fernando Montiel (Potential Hall of Famer)
    -Tyson Marquez
    - Volodymyr Sydorenko
    -Omar Navaez

And defeated a host of contenders....

        I'd say yes.

Absolutely enormous and devastating puncher at 118 pounds.

The KO of Fernando Montiel was insane.

Cool. I was just checking in NSB. I've seen online where some are saying he's borderline...

Sub-122 lb. fighters that make their way onto P4P lists (let alone top 5) and spend years there usually have strong cases for the HOF. From Nonito's KO of, then P4P, Darchinyan to his KO of, then P4P, Montiel, he already has a strong case.

If Chocolatito doesn't win another fight, he already has a strong case for the HOF. Even Rigondeaux and his thin Professional resume has a strong case (especially taking into account him being one of, if not, the greatest amateur fighter of all time).

I second that, he's faded now and has some recent losses but no way I can forget his run through 112-118. He fought everyone you could have asked him to fight.
