Golovkin vs Korobov?

The only way I would be ok with the Golovkin not fighting and waiting until early 2017 is if Danny Jacobs signs the contract that says they're fighting next - with a venue and date agreed upon.

Otherwise, Golovkin needs to stop waiting for these jackasses that say "yeah we'll fight you next.. just give us some time".

The business reasoning makes sense. December is full of meaningful fights, while early 17 is empty.

A bit more complex than just $$ or location.. Basically Wlad wants WBA belt on the line & Hearn & Co were aware of the clause before they said fight is this close-that close nonsense.. This was not a new claim as Wlad stands to lose his rankings with WBA if he faces for IBF belt.. WBO is out of the picture for him as they have a 4-man match plan & it doe not include Wlad.. So a shot at regaining his belts means win WBA & then IBF, with IBO already agreeing to put their belt in line for any fight Wlad signs up..
Hearn knew the WBA title should have always been on the line, if WBA considers Wlad-AJ then they fight for WBA & IBF else its Wlad vs Browne/Ortiz(a possibility) for the WBA..

Golovkin has been paying the WBA sanctioning fees for like 6 years and he has stated many times that his goal is all of the belts. He isn't going to vacate to fight someone like Matt Korobov. lol

with the negotiations seemingly falling apart, and Showtime/Barclays Center seemingly having a more than competitive package to back Jacobs, K2 has a possible out in hand.
