We do know his chin is at least solid.

But Wards plan I'm sure is not to find out by not getting hit lol
Came here to post something like this. Couldn't have said it better myself!

Kovalev is the heaviest handed guy Ward has fought by a wide margin. Ward has great defense but great defense + great chin is even better. Does he have a great chin? We don't know. And that's Paulies point.
So Kovalev is the best puncher at 175 but if Ward gets KO'd by the best puncher in the division that means he had a suspect chin? What type of logic is that? Getting KO'd by the hardest hitter in the division means you have a weak chin smh

Ward beat the guy that did this to that guy:

        He'll be fine.

No. The point is do we know if Ward can handle Kovalev's power if he get's hit clean? We don't. Maybe he can, maybe not.

Hopkins had good defense but even when he made a mistake he could survive because he's got granite. Is the same true for Ward? Let's see.

Who could handle Kovalev power if hit clean?

Hopkins ate a few shots. I'm not talking about the perfect shot, but good solid punches.

I do agree with you that Kovalev's chin isn't proven to be great either. It's just that I don't think that will be an issue vs Ward.

A lot of intrigue in this fight, including what we're talking about. Can't wait.

Posting links to an article about Darnell Boone fantasing about knocking Kovalev down multiple times doesn't prove anything except that you are a clown of a poster, and we know that already. You've proved it many times before.

Split decision and Kovalev was the house fighter. You're a naïve boxing fan of you don't know what really happened

And you are a fool if you accept Darnell Boone's ramblings instead of the official fight record.

But seriously what is the point of all this? Kovalev and Ward are going to be fighting each other in a months time. Whether we believe Darnell Boone or not won't make one iota of difference to the outcome.
