Yeah that's too su****ious. Even if he would have had the surgery right after the fight, he would have been in throwing punches in training 2 months later??? Doesn't add up.

Castillo won the first fight, Joy won the rematch.

He'd never been KO'd Boxrec warrior.

I'm sure I explained this to you like 5 years ago.

I thought Castillo beat Mayweather in fight 1, and Mayweather without doubt won fight 2, yet the scores for the 2nd fight were closer than the scores for the first fight.

              Fight #1

              Judge: Anek Hongtongkam 116-111
              Judge: John Keane 115-111
              Judge: Jerry Roth 115-111

              Fight #2

              Judge: Ken Morita 115-113
              Judge: Larry O'Connell 116-113
Judge: Daniel Van de Wiele 115-113

That's because those judges graduated straight out of the Clinton School of Ethics.

I feel very strongly about this fight. I think Castillo did enough to retain his title. He lost the rematch.

He put a lot of pressure on Floyd. Floyd got pressed big time. PAC, Corrales, Marquez, couldn't bring the heat like Castillo brought.

                  Floyd destroyed Gatti, and Corrales.

PAC was easy money, Marquez even easier, it is what it is.

It's over now, Floyd is retired, PAC is out there fighting B plus fighters now.

                  Nuff said.

Castillo, who at best was a second tier fighter put some serious leather on Mayweather but it was far from a great fight. It never had the drama that a truly great fight should have. I'm thinking of Mosley/DLH, Khan/Maidana, Pac/JMM 1 and 4, Barrera/Morales 1 (result was probably the wrong one) and so on.
