Are GGG's opponents pricing themselves out or are they believing the GGG hype?

Aside from any of that. Cobra is also making the point that if it's all about accomplishment and revenue, how in the hell does K2 not accept a 10million offer? With that resume?Comment

Or you could make yourself useful and go and ask Dontae to canvass professional opinion as to whether GGG deserves a flat fee or a purse split, though of course there are some who would say Dontae may be selective in who he asks, how he asks and what he chooses to report so a broader spectrum may be valuable. Still it'd be a start.Comment

Remember after Lemiuex won his title he wasn't gonna fight GGG. They upped the money and put it on PPV and he changed his mind. K2 is afraid to take another PPV risk because if it does low numbers again they lost bargaining power with Canelo on the split. HBO isn't spending any money. So they gotta probably take a loss if they want to get the fight done l. Arum has taken several losses this year in order to get fights made for Crawford and Lomachenko.
Either way, if there's gonna be decent fights it's looking like either HBO are gonna have to pony up that bit extra or GGGs gonna have to take the hit. Would be nice to think that a few more guys would be willing to just roll the dice though, whether GGG chooses to or not.Comment

Cobra is saying Jacobs would be the best name on Golovkin's resume. Jacobs should at least get 35%. Not the purse bid rules. Of course it went to the purse bid because K2 felt more comfortable with 25%

apparently Pac is always broke so what does it matter when they wouldve fought?
you like that last question don'T you??Comment

But my point is if GGG is big enough that he can turn down $10mil and a piece of PPV he should've been able to give Jacobs $3mil and put the fight on PPV. If he can't host a PPV fighting a guy more known than the guy he fought previously on PPV then something isn't adding up. An established PPV star, Cotto, did 900k on PPV. How much are people thinking GGG vs Canelo is gonna do?Comment
