Golovkin has been WBA Champion for 12 fights, 6 as Super Champion, 6 as Regular Champion but in the same way as Thurman is Champion. Geale was stripped in Nov 2012. Golovkin WBA champion from then, 12 fights

he tried to make it legit, he just wasn't given the chance to do so. now jacobs has that exact same chance, to make his regular belt legit. he just doesn't wanna take it. who even considered sturm a real champion anyway? martinez was the guy at 160 at that moment
