Examaning Canelo's resume: champ or chump

You are following me around the board posting about Garcia in a thread that has nothing to do with him. I would say that the obsession accusation is legit. The Garcia/Peterson fight was a close fight,not sure how close scorecards would shock anybody. But the main point is that regurgitating the truth should never be able to ruin something that wasn't at the very least already questionable.

You make this thread cuse of our disscusion in other one.stop saying that Cotto or Trout wins are wins over weak fighters its not true ,good wins,Cotto win is very good same with Lara,if Peterson cards dont shock you,Lara cards Shouldt either,Lara lost this fight on his wish.Hatton is legit win for prospect,Mosley as well.his Champ and only Ward or Gonzales have Arguably better resume.

Hatton is a horrible win for junior middle title,laughable that you could even argue. Cotto was past his best and much smaller than Canelo again impossible to argue. Trout is the divisions gate keeper,but still may have edged ginger ****e. Never said that Lara wasn't a decent win,but still have to factor in the favorable scorecards.

Canelo made his splash on American soil in March of 2011 defeating tough B level Welter Mathew Hatton by unanimous decision for the vacant WBC junior middle weight title. He then made four defenses against faded names(Rhodes,Mosley,Cintron,and Gomez) before facing former jw contender Jose Lopez.Next he made his first legit defense against Trout,many fans were shocked by the wide scores, some felt he was out worked.He was then routed by Mayweather,and got a tko over a shot Angulo.Next was curious scorecards again vs Lara, shot Kirkland,war torn small Cotto,s mall Khan and green Liam Smith. So, champ or Chump?

Well, whether by accident or design Canelo's resume reads somewhat better than it actually is. You see the, names you recognise them .. job done. Still though, I reckon even if you take take a closer look at the circumstances Gingers resume holds up well against almost any other in the sport - after all, if you look for it, you can tear down pretty much any resume.

I vote Champ, but it ain't as good as touted.

The Hatton fight was for a title you can't just dismiss that aspect because it doesn't seem prevalent to your discussion.This thread is about Canelo,not Floyd,Pacquiao,or Garcia.
