The surgery, known as a craniotomy, took place after Barrera's second bout against Junior Jones and was related to a congenital defect; not the fight itself. Barrera's skull was opened, an abnormal vein was removed, and a metal plate to protect the area was affixed with screws inside his skull.

yea lets just ignore this right
Oh a METAL PLATE THAT WAS PUT ON at 97?! six freaking years from the 03 Pacquiao KO? SO Barrera was already passed his prime by the age of 23 are you frekaing kidding me?

Compare Mayweather's performances in 2014 to Pacquiao's, who did better? Mayweather against Maidana in 1 of the closest fights in his career or the rematch where he gassed out and held for more than half of the fight, or Pacquiao who soundly beat a P4P ranked Bradley and walked through Algieri?

Plus Pacquiao wasn't "punished" in the Marquez fight, it wasn't the accumlation of punishment, he was actually on his way to stop Marquez and got caught by a punch he couldn't see.

LOL PAcquiao got dropped and had right hands on his head and body for six rounds and a KO of the ages, and you are telling me that would not damage a fighters body? Double Standards man.

Just admit it, Pacquiao was too skilled against Morales and Barrera and Morales despite draining Pacquiao because of taking 2 ounces of blood a night before the fight and head butting him, then forcing him to wear pillows in the first fight. Then got his ass whooped when the fight was even up and neither has the advantages.

With that Logic Pacquiao is already passed his prime to the point of shot going in to the Cotto fight. And Second, Morales got his ass whooped when Manny was now able to wear his punchers glove in the second fight.

I hear ya. You know this place is going through a shytty period when we wrangled into having conversations like this^ with people.
I had 20 posts from Maxi trying to convince me that he knows everything about boxing negotiations because of what he reads on twitter. You have to step back and wonder, "Who the fk believes shyt like this?"
It's getting to be such a waste of time I might have to start trying out the "ignore" button because this shyt is getting tiresome.

Double Standards, the just can't give credit that Manny PAcquiao beat Prime ATG mexican fighters. And at the Margarito fight, Pacquiao took a body shot from a man who is 20 pounds heavier leaving him in a fetal position in the nuresry bed for thee damn days and was pissing blood and they still say that PAcquiao wasn't shop worn? LOL
