I would have liked to see him fight one more time this year, but at least Crawford fought twice this year.

And there's only 2 and half months left in 2016. If he took a stay busy fight against a bum, people would just call him a cherry picker.

Fans will b1tch about anything. We can just hope for a better year in 2017.

Manny had the opportunity to fight Crawford instead of Vargas but he did not...I think Crawford will face the winner of vargas-pacquiao in 2017. Other good options are Danny Garcia (but Garcia won't agree) or Adrien Broner at 140-147. Broner would be nice because it would bring Crawford more exposure. Then there is Troyanovsky, but he is largely unknown and have fought terrible opposition, so i dont think this will happen. Or Burns, but thats pointless given their previous result

This is the problem with most American boxers scare to travel, you can stay busy by fighting guys in other country

Crawford vs WBO some top 15 guys

        Anthony Yigit in Stockholm, Sweden
Jonathan Chavez in Buenos Aires, Argentina

        or

You can fight in untelevised fights in your hometown where you do good in home attendant. like guys in the 80s/early 90s use to do

Floyd fought until he was 38! Manny is 37 and still fighting! Oscar retired at 35! Two fights after losing to Floyd and right after losing to Pacquiao. Manny & Floyd have given plenty of fighters the opportunity to take the torch. They've failed. And even those that did beat Manny weren't able to become a bigger star than he is

They aren't even in the same weight class and Crawford said he isn't moving up to fight Manny. Why the hell should Manny move down to accommodate Crawford?? Manny has paid his dues and he's the star. Crawford doesn't want the opportunity to take the torch from Manny!!!

Bradley is younger than Pacquiao and had the best resume outside of Floyd & Pac! What are you talking about?!?? And who the hell did Thurman beat to deserve shot? I have no problem with him fighting Berto as his last fight. Like I said earlier. The torch is vacant and those fighters you named aren't even trying to grab it

Yeah, Berto, Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz were not torch passing options.
Thurman, Porter, Brook, Spence would've been eligible candidates.

Manny fighting Bradley instead of Crawford was the same deal.

Manny wanted the fight at 147 and Crawford didn't take the opportunity because he said "140 or a duck" And manny said "F%^$ you I'm going for Vargas" Because Vargas agreed to fight at welterweight. It is own fault, don't blame everything in Manny and Floyd, Crawford blew the fight. Danny Garcia has the opportunity to take the torch from them but he priced himself out. We are not even sure if Crawford could even beat Manny.
